Have you ever seen characters on TV shows that you recognized were awful people? And by awful, I mean they were abusive, intentionally hurtful, manipulative, cruel, sadistic, mean-spirited, and thoroughly unpleasant. And in some extreme cases (not all cases though), said character was a rapists/sexual predator (I am looking at Bill Compton from True Blood, Damon Salvatore from TVD, and Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl when I say this). But for some reasons, half the fans in those fanbases try to pretend that those characters weren’t any of those things. That they are woobie soft bois who are always the victims in everything they do. That their “traumatic past” (if they have one) somehow gives them license to be as shitty to everyone around them as possible. And these fans will latch onto the flimsiest excuses to try and justify said character’s behavior.
Yeah............none of that makes those characters endearing. If anything, it makes me hate them even more than I thought I could. It’s bad enough that they are awful on their own merits, but to see people try to either justify their vile behavior or straight up deny it is something that does no favors for those characters. It makes them look worse than they already are.

Sookie, the Faery Princess of all the Fae had seen her great grandfather Niall just a few days ago. He'd given her advice. It wasn't like having Gran around. Now she was always was what Sookie needed for a sounding board.
But back on topic.
Warlow had not received the True Death. He had escaped just in time to avoid the stake by being pulled back into the void by Niall. Jason and Sookie aided in Niall's escape. Only to hope and pray Warlow was gone for good. But if he'd gotten out once, they no doubt concluded he would get out again and seek out Sookie as his Faery Vampire bride.
They had to be prepared for it. However they didn't know how or when to prepare for this attack. She had no way to keep him from entering her home, Warlow was impervious to silver. And worse yet, if she were to kill him she'd be "Fae no longer" as Claude put it. And the barmaid had come to accept who she was and didn't want to lose that side of herself.
Her normal routine of sunbathing in the morning on the hot late spring morning she was thinking of her best friend, Tara and how she couldn't be here talking to her in the sun anymore. "That's my own darn fault. She didn't want to become a vampire and now she hates me." Tears sliding down her cheeks could be seen streaming down under her sunglasses.
She began to fall asleep. Something Gran would kill her for. She'd get burned. Sook awoke to her own laughter wondering if Gran hadn't come and woken her up. Wondering how she and Granddaddy were doing. Did Gran give him a real what for like he thought she would?
It was sudden. Almost a rush. A wave of bright light emanated throughout her body. Much like when Claude and his sisters checked her light in the Faery club. But this was intense giving off a sudden knowledge that Sookie felt something had occurred in which had gone remarkably askew. Askew was the word of the day on her calendar.
Unaware of the presence of Claudellen and Claudewina Crane, the "sunshine in a pretty blonde bottle" sat up to look over herself. Different. Something felt different. "Sookie." A voice came directly from behind her. Jumping she turned to see the Crane Faeries. "You must come with us quickly! It is urgent. Your life may depend upon it! All of Faery depends upon it!"
Rolling her eyes as stood and gazed her beautiful eyes at them. "Would y'all stop doing that? Gosh darn it, between you and Bill I'm aimin' to die of a heart attack." Trekking towards her porch, she mumbled how sick and tired she was of all this.
Claudellen appeared before her when Sookie exited Gran's room dressed for the day. Only then when the woman bowed before her, she stopped. "What are you doing? Save that for Great Grandpa Niall." Upon saying that, Sookie propelled Claudellen to the side and walked down the stairs. Claudwina took a gander at her sister. "She doesn't know. She didn't feel it. Or didn't understand it."
A more than frustrated Sookie Stackhouse turned to both of them. "Know what? Tell me right now!" A Fae who seemed to have looked death in the eye spoke. "Warlow has escaped. Sookie, Your great grandfather Niall is dead. You have become 100% Faerie and are now Queen of us all."
Shaking her head in disbelief, Sookie thought back to the surge of energy she received while sunbathing. "Is that what that was? And No I ain't going to Faery. Last time I did that I went missing for 13 months. Whoever needs to talk to me can meet me on the graveyard plane. It's my day off so you go tell them to meet me there."
Sookie made way out of her ancestral home. She would not be leaving Bon Temps. A home she'd had for almost 30 years. Her house had been standing for almost 150. This was her home. Queen or not. She could make her turf on the graveyard plane. If they didn't like it, too bad.
As she entered the plane, the elders were there. Including Mab. They all bowed to her. The two Cranes were told to leave. Sookie held up her hand. "The remaining Cranes stay with me as my Faery Godmothers. Claudellen, please get the rest of your sisters." 13 other Crane sisters appeared.
Sookie turned to Mab. "What is she doing here? She is an elder my Queen." Came a voice of Claudia Crane. "Are we not almost extinct thanks to vampires and now Warlow?" A nod came from all around. "She has killed or ordered the killing of our kind as well. Come night fall, Mab you will be escorted by my brother and my friend Lafayette to my home. There you will meet a friend of mine." There was a gasp as they knew her fate. Sookie would take no rebellion seeing that great grandpa Niall was murdered.
"If Warlow were here I would do the same. Better yet I would stake him myself. When we meet it will be here. Do we have any Faery that can build us a meeting table? If not, I have a werewolf friend will do it for us."
Sookie attempted to maintain her body and her voice from shaking like a leaf. She was scared as all get out. She needed to talk to Jason, Sam, Bill and yes even Eric. After all he was going to be the one she asked to kill Mab. Just then she turned to the Cranes. "I want you out of sight on the human plane. I can't risk you dying." Her voice so caring. The Sookie Stackhouse everyone knew and loved. "Open the portals. NOW!" Because Mab was a Faerie she'd had Eric kill her for what she had done to Sookie.
With that, the newly appointed Queen, left the plane and made her way home. It was barely 11:00. As she started lunch, Jason walked in the door. As always. It was almost as if he was Pavlov's dog.
Because she became the Queen of the Fae, the Dark and Earth Faeries began an all out war to kill Sookie Stackhouse, extinguish the Bringant family line and take over Faerie, installing a new family line.
Sookie had led Eric Northman to the Graveyard plane to say goodbye to him and ask him for his blood in an attempt to aid the Light and Earth Faeries against them to save her kingdom.
Instead Eric took hold of her arm and followed her to Faery to fight the war with her. His vampiric hunger almost got the better of him when the Cranes appeared before them. However he was able to sustain his hunger until Sookie was almost destroyed by a ball of light. He then dashed over to a Dark Fae and drained them dry. It was then they retreated. Though Eric and the Cranes realized Sook had been partially hit by the ball of light. They rushed her home. Eric healed her.
She was forced to make the choice to continue the Brigant family line. It hurt Eric deeply. She'd not made her decision before Eric turned her into a hybrid. Though she can still have children. They may be Fae, vampire or hybrids. It is not certain.

True blood season 6
I don’t even know where to begin. This season was very emotional, like the tone of the season was emotional. In my books it maybe like a 7.3. It’s wasn’t amazing but it didn’t suck either. I give it this rating for very different reasons then I gave season 4 this rating. I mostly say this because it actually kinda tugged at my heart sting a little. Like I honestly don’t know how to feel about this season. The show returns to the format of taking place over a short time maybe 2 1/2 weeks. With a time jump at the end.On one hand it actually was pretty emotional with Terry’s and Luna deaths. On the other hand the villains/antiheroes/ antagonist were well they were something. Let’s start with Billith they are 1, kinda ( I love that name by the way) he annoyed the crap out of me. He was kinda the antihero/villain/antagonist wrapped into one. Like he does save everyone by the end. However he kinda put them there in the first place. Like if he hadn’t gone crazy last season there wouldn’t have been a war out on vampires. Speaking of war Louisiana governor Truman Burrell starts a war out on vamps. He is also another Villian/antagonist wrapped into one. He rounds up on the vampires that are on the loose and puts them in a research/prison facility. At some point throughout the season all the vampires from the show end up there, except Billith but that’s for a different reason. Truman is only there for like half the season but his policies and actions have affects till the last episode. He reached out and helped rebuild Trueblood so that he could spike it with Hep V and kill all the vampire. He’s way more of the main antagonist then Billith but some how annoyed me less. Speaking of annoying they brought back Sarah Newlin. She is the other half to Truman but you could honestly say it was her brainchild. I’m of two schools of thought about her, one they ruined her character because she would have never acted this way in season 2. She was a kind Christian who just wanted to do what was right in the sight of God. My other thought is that they made her character stronger because for once she was actually strong and determined to get what she wanted. Either way she was back and was a antagonist of this season. The other antagonist/villian is Warlow. He’s well he’s a complex one. He’s vampire and faerie together, which is kinda cool. We first think he’s setting out to kill sookie but he just wants to be with her. He’s Lilith’s prodigy so he’s tied to the Billith storyline as well. To be honest I kinda thought maybe just maybe him and sookie would have a good life together but he’s crazy. There are a few other things going on this Season. Andy has four faerie daughters but Jessica kills 3 of them. Terry couldn’t live with killing patrick so he arranges to have himself killed. Lafayette was seriously under used again this season. He kinda only came out when he had to be a medium and randomly he helped Sam out. Eric was kinda on his own, he creates a vampire out of Truman’s daughter Willa. He was all for teaming up with Bill until Nora died and then he was pissed. Tara, well she was with Pam and Willa for the majority of the season. At the end she forgives or works on forgiving her mother. Interesting to see where that goes. Jason well they did a good job again with him. Him and sookie are great siblings. Along with him comes Niall who gives us more insight and information on Warlow and Sookie and Jasons parents death. He ends the season in a weird place with a vampire named violet. Sookie and Alcide are together? I shipped it until I didn’t. I think sookie should have given relationship a rest for a bit. The season ends with Eric dying( I mean I hope he’s not dead), we don’t know where Pam is and vampires with Hep V are coming to take over Bon temp. Honestly I can’t really make sense of this season. I think once I let this season sit with me for a while I will be better equipped to unpack it, however all of my reviews are first impression so they are definitely meant to be all tangled up. I’m excited for 7, how’s it gonna end.

‘I’ve had enough of this vampire and faerie bullshit.’ You muttered to yourself as you kicked your shoes off as you entered your apartment, cursing your best friend Sookie, for bringing you into this. You flung your hair up into a messy bun and you made your way up the stairs, entering your room. You changed out of the dirty work clothes before climbing into your lazy clothes. You gathered up your works clothes and made your way downstairs before placing them in the washer.
-
Entering your living room, you plopped yourself down on the couch and sighed as you closed your eyes, letting out a deep sigh. ‘Why are you in my house?’ You asked as you didn’t bother turning around as you heard the door creak open. When there was no answer you sat up and looked over the back of the couch at the man standing frozen, staring at you. ‘Standing still doesn’t mean I can’t see you.’ You told him as you rested an arm along the back of it. ‘I told you to wait for me.’ You heard Sookie say, you rolled your eyes before getting up and standing in the living room doorway as Sookie appeared. ‘Hi, Y/N.’ She said cheerily as she stepped in. ‘Sookie, who’s your friend?’ You questioned, motioning to the man standing watching you, and she smiled widely. ‘Warlow, Warlow meet Y/N.’ He nodded at you and you smiled before turning back to Sookie. ‘Why’s he here?’ You quizzed. ‘He needs a place to stay.’ She told you. ‘Let me guess the vampire hotel is fully booked.’ You said sarcastically. ‘He can’t stay there.’ She said with a serious face. ‘So I’m at risk?’ You teased her. ‘I know, you haven’t allowed any vampires in before, so none can enter.’ She pointed out, and you hated that, your house was now the designated safe zone. ‘How long is he going to be staying?’ You questioned, she shrugged her shoulders still smiling happily. ‘Okay, right I’ve got it. Get your too happy for this time of night mood out of here.’ You groaned, she chuckled before giving you a hug and a kiss on the cheek. ‘Thank you.’ She replied, you nodded as she left. You closed the door and turned back around to Warlow ‘Right, you need a bed.’ You said as you made your way up the stairs, you heard the footsteps behind you and continued your way along the corridor to He wrapped you in a hug and placed a kiss on your cheek, you pulled back confused before he turned and entered the room and climbed onto the bed.
-
‘What are you doing here?’ You asked as you saw Warlow standing at your door. You took deep breaths trying to calm your racing heart. It had been a month now since Warlow had been staying at your house, you don’t know why he was in need of hiding form the vampires but you didn’t question it since he didn’t make a mess or caused any hassle. ‘I couldn’t sleep.’ He said, his voice deep. You rubbed your eyes and moved your hair away. ‘What’s the problem?’ You quizzed. ‘I don’t know. Could I sleep in here?’ He questioned, you looked at him for a second before nodding. He made his way in sat on the opposite side of the bed, before lying down and rolling onto his side so he was facing you. You lay down once he was in and turned to looked at him, both watching each other. ‘What are you?’ You asked as he watched you closely. ‘Nothing.’ He said, you raised an eyebrow. ‘You have to be something when you’re staying here away from everyone else.’ You stated, as you placed a hand under your head and let out a sigh. ‘Part vampire, part faerie.’ He said, you raised your eyebrows and nodded. You let out a yawn before closing your eyes. ‘Well you’ll be safe here.’ You mumbled before you fell asleep. He watched as your chest rose and fell with every breath you took. He lifted a hand and reached forward to the strand of hair that had come loose and tucked it behind your ear, you moved slightly, and he froze but when you stayed asleep, he smiled slightly.
-
‘I made you breakfast.’ Warlow said as you appeared in the doorway, you smiled at him. ‘You didn’t have to.’ You told him as you walked over to the kitchen table, that had orange juice and milk placed out in glasses already. Warlow walked over and placed a plate in front of you. ‘Thank you.’ You said as he gave you the plate ‘Can you got out or does your vampire stop you?’ You questioned as you took a bit of the bacon, you chewed it. ‘I can go outside.’ He answered, you nodded. ‘But I shouldn’t I stay inside?’ He quizzed, you shrugged your shoulders. ‘You can if you want, but the back and front garden are safe as well. It’s my property so they aren’t allowed on it.’ You told him, taking a sip of orange juice before continuing eating as he eat as well watching you.
-
‘How do you know you love someone?’ Warlow asked out of the blue, you looked up from you book. He was sitting on the seat to your left as he watched the world go by. ‘I don’t know. It changes for everyone, but I would say that you can’t see yourself without them. No matter what you do, and they always accept you for who you are.’ You explained to him, he continued to stare at you before you looked away. ‘Why?’ You asked as you looked back down at your book, no longer being able to focus on it. ‘I think I’m in love.’ He said, you continued to stare at the page in front of you. ‘With who?’ You asked him. You could feel his eyes on you before he answered. ‘You.’
