“do you love it or do you love it?” mace asked, spinning around slowly so that he could get the full effect of her new dress. it was the new dress that she’d asked for the last time she was over. it was probably way overpriced but it was beautiful and she had to have it. she’d spent a wonderfully long evening earning it, too. in true mace fashion, she hadn’t put on anything underneath the dress. which she showed him by lifting up the hem of the dress just enough to show her bare hip.  

“it’s only fair that you get properly thanked.” mace slid her arms across his shoulders and straddled his lap. “and i may have seen a really cute purse at the mall today, too...” she batted her eyes innocently at him giggled. “i’m only teasing.” she was only half teasing. mace had seen a purse that she’d die for at the mall but she didn’t really expect him to get her expensive gift so quickly. besides, money wasn’t the only reason she liked to spend time with him. she also really enjoyed his company and, of course, the sex.

as a general rule of thumb, mace typically didn’t show uninvited and especially not unannounced but desperate times called for desperate measures. she missed rhys. it had been almost a week since she’d last seen him and she was over it. she knew that he was busy and that he wasn’t purposely avoiding her but she was bored and he was the closest of her sugar daddies. also, undoubtedly, her favorite.
