My gaming rig died on me earlier this year, but since I've mostly been playing on the Xbox to avoid spending the evening at the same home office desk I just pulled an 8 hour workday, I've put off replacing it for a while
So, when the need for a new home PC became unavoidable, and with a desire to avoid Windows 11 anymore than I am contractually required to by work, I bought my first Mac in over two decades
Picked up a Mac Mini M4 with a Wokyis Retro Docking Station with an extra 2TB SSD in the back. The built in monitor serves as a great little screen that is currently setup to play an animated wallpaper of the day/night cycle of the Last City
It's kind of a delight to see, even when I'm working being able to glance over and see something more interesting to my nerdy brain than the current data I'm crunching has been a great little bonus
