M82 with Seestar S30 Pro
M81
Okay first entry in my camo collection / review series. Starting with my favorite pattern M81 woodland. This is probably my most practical / affordable set. The bottoms are military issue ripstop BDU's. The top is a modern Helikon-Tex ripstop raid shirt. In my opinion this is my best set in the sense that it's practical, comfortable, and most importantly affordable to replace if necessary. If I need to wear something for real, this'll probably be it. The shirt was a bit of a splurge to ensure I could get a ripstop top, but one can easily find cheap tops on ebay or the like. 9/10 I love this set.
M51 and M82, M83 using my Carbonstar 200 mm scope. These are the first images captured since getting my QHY268M camera back from China. It had been out for repairs to the dew heating system and to clean the inside of the optical window that was covering the sensor. Filters were 25 year old Astrodon LRGB series E. Mount is my trusty 25 year old Losmandy G11. Took some work to remove artifacts of light pollution. Unfortunately some still remain.

Settling on one name this time.
Ran a little behind today, and had two guys waiting for me. One had holes in his pants he was hoping I could address.
I seem to always forget stuff, and today I forgot my seam ripper. Thankfully the hole on my SpyderCo Native Chief made it easy to control the blade.
The next vet needed a backpack cinch strap reinforced, so I sewed a piece of grosgrain along the entire length of the drawstring. Held up well, and scrunched down when instructed to do so.
Another request walked through the door. Said he was attacked by a guy with a knife. Ok. I at least got him settled up.
Making a few more M81 Woodland bags for next week, and to share with some family down south of me. Trying out a setting with black straps, tan straps, and green straps, so they can quickly tell their bags apart from each other, but I think green looks the best. Will post finished pictures when I can. The boss loves the new bags, and asked for all bags going forward to have zippers. They are useful, but it makes manufacturing a little tricky. I’m still learning!
I messed up hard on the width not noticing that the edge had been cut at a pretty steep angle, so I had to make a very narrow bag. Well, it’s kinda square, maybe?
As always, your thoughts, ideas, and criticisms are always welcome!
