One reason to give your toys a freedom of will is to fight extreme boredom, which is a inevitable accomplice of omnipotence... everyone does that at some point of their development.

Yaya finally spoke to me. He is truly lives by spirits time. Spirits are tricky to communicate with. Sometimes I wonder, what if we would learn their language like we do foreign languages? The world would be different. That's for sure.

Lately I've been thinking about how does it feel to be an immortal being outside of time. And it seems, that if you are such an omnipresent creature, you are operating simultaneously in all the times. So if you are capable at all to feel something, every intense displeasant experience will hunt you for whole eternity. Being omnipotent, what do you do?

Solid things become fluid, and the vortex of the future sucks so badly. Light itself barely escapes. One thing I can tell you is that in the darkest times it is extremely important to stay whimsical. We all dream about it; but one thing is to dream and another is to walk the dream. There is always more to it than the human mind can grasp. The unknown is the poison for dogma; outliers do not fit even into the biggest pictures. The strange is an agent of change, and change is the law. No one expects infrared swan, until it's there, and then it was so obvious.

I like working with colors, and there is much to explore. Pencils though, I'm not so sure. Layering just takes too long, do not have time for it at the moment... Anyways, zygomatic bone is my favorite of those of skulls, because of the lines it shape creates when connecting to everything else, and specifically, where it connects to frontal bone. It is challenging to capture them lines, but I'm making good progress those couple weeks. Still not happy yet.

Random thought that I had while working on it, is that whatever art you create, all you do, is that you try to capture a feeling of something temporary using more robust, long lasting medium. And in case to do this, you use some symbolic dictionary. Like, line is not a shape, but if you combine a few of them in the right order, it conveys the feeling of shape. Does that make sense?
