Snowball Fight:
I think that Liam Lawson deserved the second Alpha Tauri seat more than Daniel Ricciardo. Personally I feel like AT is supposed to be a development team and Daniel Ricciardo has already developed as much as he is going to as a driver. I don't necessarily think DR should be out of a seat but I don't think he should be in a seat for a young driver. Especially when there's talent LIKE Liam Lawson in the pipeline. Like if we really think about it part of the reason we got a non RB winner is because Liam knocked Max out of Q3 in Singapore.

i agree that AT is a developmental team, but I don't think that they can provide drivers with much... development atm. the car is shit, and while I don't think Daniel should occupy that specific seat long term because it should be for a rookie, the insight that he is able to provide about the development of the car I think is currently more important than getting liam lawson a full time drive.
personally I think that Red Bull needs to stop promising f1 seats to every driver in their academy because it's not a promise they can fulfill, nor is it a promise that is always in the best interest of the teams who would be taking those drivers on.
I also don't know that Liam knocking max out of q3 is the reason we got a non-rb win. the red bulls were off pace the entire weekend. it doesn't matter where max started from this season if the car was on pace, he was winning the race. if the rb19 was on pace, it wouldn't have mattered if max started p11 or p1.
