As much as he hated parting with his favorite accessory—yellow was the color of happiness and sunshine and warmth and life and made his uniform less bland—he would always willingly part with it for Makoto. 

But when Makoto managed to snatch his scarf before Ryoji noticed, the raven would always end up wandering around their home until he found the Messiah. It wasn’t surprising in the least when he found the lump the bed, Makoto curled up and bundled under the blankets, the ends of the scarf poking out from underneath. 

It was cute.

Ryoji couldn’t help but smile, making his way over and leaning over the lump to place a kiss on where he guessed Makoto’s head was.

He was about to ask his beloved what was wrong, to erase that somewhat grumpy expression from his face, only for Makoto to startle him with a kiss before he could get a word out.

“If this is what happens, then I’d consider it a good thing,” he said, hushed, breathless when they pulled apart. He gave Makoto a smile as radiant as the sun.

my opinion on;

character in general: Although I didn’t think too much of the Protagonist from the game, because it was hard to really discern his personality when a lot of it was really left up to the player - from what I’ve seen of the movies, I really like what they did with Makoto and I really feel like that was the closest thing that I pictured his canon personality as being - I just like how they took a protagonist who was sort of intended to be a blank slate for the player, and really developed him in the movies.how they play them: I think they do a good job of capturing his sort ennui, and his more eccentric side, as Ryuji has noted, in our threads, together.  I also like though that their character seems to have a bit of a softer side, compared to Makoto from the films - I think it helps to humanize him a lot, and therefore, makes me like him a lot more.the mun: The mun is really insightful and fun to analyze and theorize with - I also like knowing that there’s at least one other person in the fandom who actually remembers that Ryuji even exists, half the time and appreciates him as much as I do.  They’re a really insightful and wise person, and a truly good friend to have.

follow them: Always!rp with them: Yes, we have one thread at the moment (Speaking of, my reply is queued up for sometime later tonight - early tomorrow).want to rp with them: Yesss.ship their character with mine: Well, I believe in our current verse their Makoto is around twenty-four, and Ryuji is still sixteen.  Perhaps in a verse where one of them is a little more aged up, or aged down? I dunno, it’s something I’d discuss with the mun.  We’ve also discussed how the two of them would make good friends and rocks for one another, so maybe they would be better as friends than as a couple, anyway.  It’s really something I’d have to talk over with the mun, and hear their take.

what is my;

overall opinion: Really great Makoto (And Akihiko!) and really insightful and loving mun.  Really, really wonderful friend and both mun and muse are 10/10.
