We'd like to introduce you to Charlie and Yoni. Two 30-something BFF's just trying to navigate city life post 29; friendships, careers, breakups, breakdowns and pinterest boards. They are a bit clueless, a touch melodramatic, a tad dirty, a smidge politically incorrect, and a whole lot of fun. Check out the teaser below.
If you didn't already know, everyones favourite public broadcaster, CBC is running a comedic competition called CBC Comedy Coup. This ten week competition gives creators from all over the country the opportunity to create weekly segments in order to get fans attention so they can win $500k in production financing to create a half hour special for CBC Primetime. Pretty cool eh?
It just so happens that our very own #lwki artist Lucie Guest along with her two pals Amelia Wasserman and Jess Hinkson are the creative minds behind this sure to be Hot Mess of a show.
They have made it into the top 110 out of thousands of applicants and need your help to stay in the competition.
Starting today fans can start voting for their fave pitches. Each week the competitors will create new videos to keep fans enticed, until they are whittled down to the final pitch that gets their own show. We'd love it if these ladies were on our TV. Wouldn't you?
