It is often said that if we want to change the world, we must 🌀 start from within...but then the world and its programming comes in: bringing static to the clarity of that message and distracting our simple 🗝 focus from this. Loss can feel like the worst thing: an emptiness...lack of what once was a warm or cherished aspect. We are wise to pay attention to the vast💥difference between what was just familiar, or novel, and what is indeed actually a good fit for us. Such an absence - especially when its new removal is unexpected or does not otherwise seem timely or fair - can bring all types of turmoil and pain. Of course, this suffering is an act of resistance, and we can often release it almost instantly by 🌀letting go of expectations. But when we find that everything is💫connected; resulting responses can help reveal what asks to be healed in us at a deeper level (i.e. a childhood trauma) or what we need to be willing to 🗝 relinquish in order to allow for the next greater, better, or more fulfilling appearance of a person or experience in our life. We forget that everything is always shifting and changing. Our human condition would prefer to hold it all tightly and keep things in a place or way we can anticipate. Yet, if all of the outcomes were predictable, no room would exist for magic. If we 💡knew what waited around every turn, we would not be stimulated to learn or grow. So, we are challenged and encouraged to trust. In this trust, we also surrender to the current and to the flow.
