to answer the other questions: i have never gone to supernatural and am simply fascinated at a distance, though i do have friends who are more familiar with it!

Lydia has the ability to see peoples deaths but only if she touches them/slash has an emotional connection to them.

Peter is totally on Magneto's side and Derek is initially under Professor X because they were picked up when the Hale house was burned down.

Stiles is brought to the school because they know he is a mutant. They just have no clue what his mutation is...

Jackson is straight up still the kanima, and he regularly cheats on sports days by paralysing the opposing teams so that he wins.

Derek is an empath, he doesn't handle it well.

Professor X can't read Stiles' thoughts and most mutations don't seem to affect him. They still don't know what his mutation is though.
