Have you read @aquaquadrant 's Hels to Pay au? I will straight up never stop singing its praises, as I'm sure you've noticed lmao, and I definitely recommend it if you have literally any thoughts or feelings about Ranchers. And if you don't, then you definitely will be the end lmaoo. Also Timmy is the wettest rag of a man and I love him and everyone should scroll the htp Timmy tag on @lunarcrown 'so blog right now cause I'm obsessed with him
I have seen it around but have not had a chance to read it yet. I know, from everything I have seen of it, I would absolutely love it if I just took a day to read through it. One of these days, I swear I will!
From my experience looking in, though, Hels to Pay looks incredibly interesting, and I have always loved the art I have seen from it. Lunarcrown's art style, coloring style, and character designs are always incredible fun. Every time any art of theirs crosses my dash I know I am going to have to stop and stare a while—a few I have sat with for a time are coming to mind right now. I am less familiar with Aquaquadrant, but with how many people have sent asks for them and this AU, I am very certain they must be a deeply talented individual.
@lunarcrown and @aquaquadrant I recently thought about y'all's Hels to Pay au and took 5 psychic damage, it remains so so so good and I can't get over how good all of the art and writing is. As a writer myself, I literally look up to Aqua so much, you're one of my biggest inspirations and my target skill level to reach. I love everything y'all do, keep up the good work!!

@lunarcrown and @aquaquadrant because they are both such amazing artist/author! Lunarcrown's art inspired me to start teaching myself to draw again after being discouraged for several years, and Aquaquadrant inspired me to try new ways to describe scenes and dialogue in my writing. Also, Aquaquadrant's writing has genuinely made me smile or burst into tears, and Lunarcrown's art is so gorgeous, I want it tattooed onto my skin (in a positive way !).

Okay so! First immediate thought is Applejack because, y'know, farmer pony, rancher. You get me. He's very Applejack coded to me, and he would absolutely take her place in an MLP AU!
BUT.
As much as he'd like the mane six, I think he'd lean towards secondary characters like The Wonderbolts and Cutie Mark Crusaders :3
Especially Spitfire (This is not a Tango blaze joke I promise, I realized that as soon I typed her name lmao), and Scootaloo!
Spitfire because she's such a confident character who knows her morals and sticks to them! He wants to be like her! He admires her so much! He wants to be a leader who people look up to!
And Scootaloo, my baby girl! He'd love how she always tries her best, no matter what. She gets discouraged, but a little reminder from her friends that trying is what matters, not succeeding, and she gets right back out there! She's just like him for real!!!
The hels to pay au by @lunarcrown and @aquaquadrant is genuinely so good, lunar's designs are gorgeous and aqua's writing takes me out every time, she captures emotions so so well, plus she was super nice when I flooded her notifs with my insanity lmao.
