Lore + Lumi
The lonely iceman. Sorry if some of these are depressing, it's just the way his story and character is. He so sweet if anyone would try to get to know him.
Lumi was cursed with ice elemental magic that is consistently active; he can't stop it, only suppress it. After 2 hours of being near him most things start to freeze and people tend to get super cold. His special gloves can increase this to 8 hours so he can attend classes mostly but the gloves cause him pain after 2 hours.
He was raised by snowy mountain wolf beasthumans who found him in the snow alive as he seemed not bothered by it. They were so used to the cold his ice magic issue never was an issue.
If Lumi stays near a well going fireplace or outside in the heat his ice magic is nearly nonexistent but will form a cold barrier around him after a while.
Lumi can not feel heat at all, only cold. He can feel the pain of say fire causes if you touch it. He often will painfully do this wishing he could feel the heat too. Also he will venture into Scarabia and just go sit in the sand far away from anyone.
He was found in the forest near nrc the previous year by Coach Vargas during the winter break. He was in remnants of what Vargas could tell was the RSA uniform. Vargas tends to be the one concerned for him and goes to find him when his attendance shows him missing. He often finds him starving in Scarabia's desert or locked in his frozen dorm.
Lumi suffers from Chronic Loneliness as determined by Infirmary doctor staff who constantly have to treat him for starvation. Vargas and Crewel are determined to help him out and try to get other students to speak to him but he is too scared and only speaks to them or vanishes and they have to find him again.
