He’s doing great! He hatched out fully yesterday but was a bit too eager for his own good because his umbilical was still attached. I put him and the egg in a small deli cup with damp paper towels and left him in the incubator for a while. In a few hours the umbilical detached from the egg and overnight the umbilical detached from him and he’s doing fine! I don’t think there was any damage done as the yolk was already absorbed and there was no blood. I’ll post pictures of him in a bit after my phone charges. Thanks for asking about him! (His name is Ben10 btw)

I don’t think it’s something that should be done excessively (like on an every other day basis) but giving them a bath on occasion doesn’t hurt as long as you do it properly! Sometimes my old man gets super gross and smelly because of their terrible poops so he does get a “bath” every now and then. He was actually found by a creek and seems to like water as well.

I’m actually not aware of many blogs that are focused mainly on bearded dragons. If you have any questions about them I’d be happy to answer or direct you to someone who can though.

Reed frogs are one of the best options for paludariums with (relatively) large water areas! I would recommend looking into their different species and figuring out if you like them and if they’ll be a good fit for you.

Blizzards are the only ones that are widely known for typically being a bit wild, but geckos are individuals and one of any morph could be potentially a bit standoffish! I would recommend avoiding enigmas as they have neurological issues. All the other morphs are relatively solid choices. Blizzards included! I don’t think they’re necessarily bad for first time owners, they’re just not the best if you want a really cuddly gecko.
