@ink-nero has been drawing a lot of witch-related stuff lately, and that got me thinking about my own witches, who are s u p e r o l d and badly in need of redesigns. Lukraine’s design still feels pretty solid and he’s gone over 10 years as my OG bobcat man so gud jerb buddy. Fafnisa on the right there is the most unstable and ferocious of his three wives, and although I redesigned her on the spot I’m actually quite pleased with the result. She’s much more like her eagle owl totem now and not just a Lukraine copy in terms of design.
...I gotta think more on how exactly Infraflux witchcraft works. Unlike the reasoned focus of wizardry and the half-controlled instinct of sorcery, witchcraft is much more about object intent and association, and mainly involves getting the spirits associated with your material universe to do shit for you. All my witches are humanoid with animal totems because they’re from Infraflux’s past, but modern witches are as varied as the modern population and can have totems ranging anything from natural phenomena to steel refrigerators.
