luhanitor:
The male that stood before him was honestly anything but unattractive. From his pronounced cupid’s bow to his slender figure to his eyes - those eyes that seemed to house the whole world, all of its promises and dreams - there was no doubt that this man was, well, to say the least, lucky when it comes to genes and DNA. Obviously, that’s not something he could say to this man, at least in those exact words. Throughout the course of his analyzing the other, Lu Han found himself staring and running his tongue along his lower lip, making the idea that he was absolutely checking the other out rather conspicuous. The only thing that shook him from his practically dazed state was the husky, yet gentle voice of the male standing before him. "Don’t look at me like that." As a result, Lu Han shook his head as if physically bringing himself back to reality. With a chuckle and a subtle shrug of his shoulders, he apologized. "Sorry about that, sir. It’s not exactly polite to stare, is it?" He leaned forward slightly, tapping the other’s shoulder almost playfully. "However, you should be proud. Or your parents should be, maybe. You’re pretty damn good-looking, if that’s not too bold of me to say."
It was not like Baekhyun to so bluntly request for one to stop doing something that made him uncomfortable--usually a subtle insinuation was more his thing. But the day had been long and tiring, and had left him a bit more on the irritable side than what was normal for him. It had not been too long since he'd stepped off stage to the sound of polite applause and made his way over to the bar to request a glass of water, but he had felt the stranger's eyes on him for quite some time before that. He side-eyed the male as he thanked the bartender for his drink--the bartender only making a comment on how odd it was of him to ask for water at a bar--but then pretended not to notice. No one was looking at him anymore, he told himself with a firm nod. Ample thighs pressed together as he crossed his leg, sitting comfortably on the stool as he gazed ahead at the next entertainer stepping on stage. Taking a sip from his glass, he wondered what the woman had in store for the mostly intoxicated consumers that filled the numerous tables. His lips pursed. He could still feel that stranger's gaze. His cheeks burned as he turned in his seat, finally facing the male, just in time to catch the way that he licked his lips, and his brows furrowed a bit at the sight. When he spoke his voice did not come out nearly as firm as he would have liked it to.
Baekhyun tried hard not to showcase his discomfort when his shoulder was tapped--really, what was it with strangers these days and being so touchy? He quirked a brow, only further embarrassed by the words leaving the other's mouth. Was it really so easy to just say things like that? To a total stranger? "And what if it is?" He asked, merely thinking aloud, but he managed to give the question a playful edge to it. He wasn't genuinely bothered by it, and perhaps he was just a little bit flattered, but he would not say that.
