Game - (a little in-law bonding time?)
Game — I’ll write a drabble of my character playing videogames with yours.
Bill Weasley did not understand video games.
Bill Weasley was not very good at video games.
Now he prided himself on being pretty good when it came to muggle things, or at least as good as he could have hoped for. He couldn’t tell his dad how aeroplanes stayed up or what the function of a rubber duck was, but he’d gotten an O in Muggle Studies O.W.L. so that was surely a decent start? And unlike his father, he understood how a telephone worked and prided himself on taking interest in technology.
However when it came to video games, he was not good. He tended to just mash any old buttons together which always made for an interesting game, as whoever was playing with him watched his character jump and crouch across the screen for no apparent reason.
So of course, Hermione decided to introduce him to Mario Kart. Less buttons for him to mash and surely he could understand the simple idea of turning the ‘wheel’ to turn and likewise.
And he did.
Which of course meant that family gatherings now often ended in a tournament, with some of the family members getting rather competitive and Bill at first held the record for wins, much to his pride.
That is, until little Lucy Weasley came along and thrashed him.
