Pepper having a hard day and his lover gently but sternly makes him take a me day and just pampers pepper while distracting him so he never feels too anxious to get up and do things and by the end of the day is just fully content and happy and nearly purring with how happy he is as he snuggles next to them and thinks about how great of a day they had and how he would not mind having another day off sometime

Peppers love being sad and him not knowing what to do thinks about what makes himself happy and just ends up anxiously making a ton of his favorite food to try to cheer them up to the point they have leftovers for weeks but it make them crack smile at the sweet bois gesture
