Need a couple extra things to fix up the shapes and sand/smooth out the terracotta before I paint it but... favour tree :)
As for loop bard propaganda... at some point I'll just go ahead and draw them with an instrument or whatever, but as i always am, I got stuck on trying to communicate a Read/Idea... I really really like Postcanon!Bardloop for its implications. or at least the implications my mind immediately went to as someone who did a whole unit on Clive Wearing. because everything we learned about procedural vs episodic memory from him in relation to music makes me feel A Way. (picture me currently still losing my shit about the fact both he and his wife are still alive and together !! AUUUH)
(I'm linking his wikipedia page up there for brevity since I'm mostly just using this as an example of how muscle memory for musical ability is not affected by retrograde amnesia, which is what's relevant here... Also, it's readmore time since I'm getting longwinded...)
So, we know that even in a case like Wearing's, where he was completely unable to form new episodic memories (meaning: memories of events), he was still able to improve his skills over time, showing that Procedural Memory (aka: Muscle Memory) works through completely different means to memories of your past. (I'm majorly simplifying here, but we do know why this is for the most part, since these processes occupy different parts of the brain)
This is because Wearing was a Classical Pianist. He could still play things entirely from memory, or when presented a wholly new piece, could play it from a page. But, when presented with that new piece a subsequent time-- While he wouldn't recognise it, he would still noticably improve. The muscle memory was still working, just fine.
You like. See where I'm going with this, right? Pair this with the knowledge that singing can help bypass a number of neurological conditions that impede speech (x random example paper) and even if this isn't the most scientifically rigorous explainer of an otherwise entirely just for fun headcanon... (and entirely ignoring the word of god answer that loop would never let someone catch them singing LOL. even a curmudgeon like me is allowed to ignore 'canon' for fun sometimes)
The idea that Sif/Loop (my stealth propaganda here is that you can make them a musical duo) may not even Know that they can play an instrument (on account of seemingly scarcely remembering things prior to the loops in the first place...) but when presented with one... They just, can? Even if they can't explain it. It would allow them to reclaim things from their past by slowly rediscovering songs they used to know by heart. 26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
funny answer: more than once ive drawn bing looking tortured and gotten a compliment on it thinking its clearly a vent piece with emotion behind it because its not and im just goofin'. its just funny to make him scream
real answer: narratively, probably the fact that my postcanon isat stuff is in a perpetual flux as to whether the party know [the big twist] and reading most of them with or without the knowledge (that i am usually withholding) of which im going for alters the readings SIGNIFICANTLY. which means basically all of them have upwards of a billion unintended readings. lmao
funniest answer: the fucking loop toes out situation from that one comic. you know the one. where i abstracted fingers too much and flew too close to the sun. im never living those dogs down
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

anyway im like. zen about it. this actually took a while to think on because i'm like, pretty jazzed about the engagement my original stuff is getting right now. sooo... i think that little [eight page zine] i did is one where i think i like it more than it got looked at (though the women from it did well...!). I had fun putting it together and being weird even if its very small. would like to do it again
ok so this is a general thing. i actually have a deceptively structural artstyle which makes cute beanthings actually really hard to draw since i have to turn off a lot of my usual habits. I default to making things lumpy & anatomical so my love of funny cartoons ends up being an exersize in torture. you can ALSO see this whenever I draw Sonic lmao.
Kirby-type characters really are my achilles heel though. Which is great. because i fucking have several. lmao. getting the proportions just right... its always trial and error. lol.

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw
I like long flowing clothes in general like capes & cloaks or shawls but my favourite thing to draw really is these big ass sleeves. i call them 'wizard sleeves' in my brain and do have to stop myself from making basically any sleeve i encounter slightly baggy lol.
16. Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing
bro i fucking hate colouring. its soooooo boring.
sketching? fun, im working out a puzzle. lining? i mostly don't actually line things, just clean sketches (but when i have to line things in a more 'normal' way i do hate it) shading? also fun because it's a thing to use my brain on.
like, working out colours is fun, choosing them is fun. but the actual grunt work of colouring drives me up the wall its so boringgggg. always takes me a long time just because i get distracted. I'm told my colour work is pretty good and i basically always find myself wanting to make things big and colourful but auughhh.... i'm very impatient lol.
for the oc game thingie: who, of your ocs, would you sit down to help a kid with homework. and who would you Not. ask to take the trash out at night?

Rangei, I think. Guy with pretty infinite patience, and is pretty smart. He's a quiet dude, but he's the only one with enough legal sense and literacy to read a contract and see if numbers line up. So he'd be both good at listening and at actually helping out i feel.
(Who would I not trust? Like way too many of them but let's just hand Cobalt the 'neglect your son and send them to boarding school' award right here)
Who would I not ask to take the trash out at night... Ok so three way tie for Red, Toyon and Peach. They are living together and none of them are doing it with any level of consistency and none of them communicate issues before a breaking point. 5. Decorating for a party or holiday
Trust most? The Tanith family. Literally just the most normal and functional family unit I have and maybe the only ones who have like. the joy de vivre to actually decorate? And even if Naga is a troublemaker I don't think they'd do more than put things in mildly funny places. She's not gonna be setting things alight. The Felidaes and Brigadiers are a little too cynical, and nobody else has kids so they don't really keep up the vibe. Oh I'd maybe trust Carnelian and Lazulite, maybe even enough to put things up on public telephone poles.
Trust Least? Box is literally doing home alone shit. Like just always doing home alone shit he's plugging everything into one extension cable with intent to start a fire. He's setting traps. He's buying glass christmas lights as trip hazards. He will actively sabotage your christmas setup if he's near it unsupervised. Love that kid.
19. Redecorating the room
Most? Omerta is classy and stylish and knows how to make a room look good. She also has a very good sense for hiding things. Her style is maybe a little bit uninspired and on the showroom-floor side of things but it's pleasant and practically minded. And also she doesn't fall for scams.
Least? Lollie. I gave lollie the worst sense of taste possible her house looks like a set on balamory. Every room in her house is painted a different blindingly neon colour and is full of clutter. It makes her happy! But if you let her be in charge of something she will make it as visually as busy as possible without really letting you stop her. She would paint over wooden beams.

Most? Lazulite. He's just genuinely probably done it a lot. And he's forward thinking enough that he'll remember to masking tape things off and bring the right equipment-- which is what he has his boyfriend beat at despite him being more physically capable here.
Least? Ilex. She's got shit taste in style. She'll probably talk you into doing it for her and be really picky about it the whole time because she won't just leave you to it. And then after you're done she'll not like it and change her mind.
36. Picking a movie for movie night

Most? Genuinely had to think for way too long here but Bunnyhop. Like i think that guy might be a genuine patron of the arts. Unlike my other choices i think bun might actually have a good barometer for "gauging the relative taste of the group" and "what is an acceptable level of obscurity". Plus as a wrestler i think bun can identify a good performance & is able to suspend buns disbelief enough to give any movie a fair shake.
Least? Ok so its Most of the cast. BUT Disregarding characters like Baron who may be genuinely media-illiterate or Chrome who hasn't watched a film in at least 5 years... I'm gonna go with Miao, because her media taste is genuinely shot from years of intentionally seeking out neil-breen-esque terrible indie productions and mockbusters. She will show you the least funny most irony poisoned thing to hand and if you can't keep up with that you're gonna have a Miserable Time
