Series “Al-Andalus”, by the Andalusian artist José Luis Muñoz.  

They represent women, and also men, that enriched the cultural life of Al-Andalus, in medieval Spain.

The collection is permanently exhibited in the "House of Sefarad - House of Memory" (Córdoba), a center dedicated to the recovery of Sephardic tradition and culture and of the Al-Andalus era in general.

Hafsa Al-Rukiniya. A Granadan aristocrat of the 12th century, perhaps one of the most celebrated Andalusian female poets of medieval Arabic literature.

Lubna. An Andalusian intellectual of the second half of the 10th century famous for her knowledge of grammar and the quality of her poetry.

Fátima Bint Al-Mutanna. An Andalusian philosopher, jurist and mystic from the 12th century. 

Wallada. An Andalusian poet from the 11th century.
