all my local theatre kids recommended i watch shrek but i H A T E D it. it has zero charm, it hardly expands on characters & plot, not to mention half the musical numbers don't need to be there anyway? maybe its just too crude for my taste. i just. no.

i absolutely adore the 2003 & 2007 casts of little shop!!! all the other casts are great too (only exception being ellen green, WHY was she in like 3 of these productions) but i love the interpretations of their characters

not to be another lin stan, but lin manuel miranda is the greatest composer of our generation. he’s a lyrical & musical genius. hamilton is, production-wise, one of the greatest musicals ever. plus, in the heights. need i go on?

beetlejuice musical > beetlejuice movie. i am much more interested in lydia’s story than the maitlands but idk i relate to lydia more lol.

no, really. jelicle songs & skimbleshanks especially are great songs, yall just hate it bc there’s no crazy emotional story going on.

evan hansen is NOT ‘problematic.’ if you’re going to call him that, you’ll have to say that about hamilton & veronica & natasha & seymour & every other main character ever :/

dave malloy is a fabulous actor & composer but his voice in great comet makes me want to crawl in a hole except for that one part in the duel when he screams hhHVVODKA. honestly curious as to why people like his performance more than josh groban’s

bonnie & clyde deserved better

why does everyone go nuts for six?? it’s a good musical but it’s like... not THAT good.

neil patrick harris is a great singer & actor. his performances in company & assassins are not the best ever, but definitely impressive
