Ballet.
It's only been 7 months since my last ballet class with Lionville School Of Dance and honestly it seems like its been years. Ballet, I miss it so much. Looking at all the photos of the professionals and how beautiful and graceful they are makes me jealous. I wish I could have been able to keep up with it. I mean I was never amazing or prima ballerina quality but I loved it. Loved it so much that I sometimes cry thinking about the fact I don't do it anymore. I miss my studio so much. Not just the dance, but my dance girls. We had some good times and the stories and I fit in with them.
Part of me wishes I didn't listen to my parents and went to a dance college and double majored in biology and dance like I planned on. Now I'm miserable and missing dance like no other. I mean Ivyside is fun when I get respect but its not ballet. There isn't any ballet this semester and quite frankly that's why I joined to be in the ballet numbers. It's just not the same. I haven't put on a pair of pointe shoes since August and it's killing me. I'd give anything to be able to dance again.
