it is the monday after graduation, which took place on saturday. summer vacation has just begun for the 12 and there’s a mix of emotions. the days would generally be filled with sunshine and parties and celebrating their newfound freedom, but of course, something is missing. beth’s absence hangs in the air as family members approach their teens with caution and the teens of pointsett? well, some of them wallow in their misery. others choose to find escapes, ways to forget. some of them would rather avoid the subject entirely. but there’s no denying it -- something is different.
this posts marks the beginning of ic interactions, taking place the monday after graduation, about a week and a half following beth’s passing. starters should be tagged with #lsstarter.
hello, everyone seems to be in agreement so last summer is now a CLOSED GROUP. it will take place on both discord & tumblr and we can just keep it chill and continue to develop our muses. obviously if you don’t like the direction of this group and don’t feel like it fits your muse, you’re welcome to leave at any point.

hey, i have given it some thought and i was wondering what you guys would think about making this a closed group. i feel like the dash moves slowly but we communicate a lot ooc. because of that, it could be intimidating for new people to jump in & this isn’t an rp i really feel comfortable outwardly promoting because of the dash speed. however, i feel like we have a really great environment and group dynamic as is so while it would be a closed group, you would still be welcome to continue or write new threads together and i could still post occasional tasks if you want to develop your characters further still. we could keep the ooc chat going for as long as it lasts and continue to support one another in future rp endeavors. please let me know if you agree with this or if you have other thoughts !!

a handful of trouble-making teenagers on weekend-long camping trip in the woods sounds like the plot of a horror movie, but here at pointsett, it’s just another weekend. after the bonfire, the twelve reconciled to make plans again and to make the summer one to remember, starting off that resolution with a campsite at pointsett campgrounds, right in the midst of pointsett woods. with tents, campfires, booze, and hopefully lots of bugspray, it’s sure to be a weekend to remember.
this is a dash event that will take place starting wednesday 2/7 at 4pm cst/5pm est/11pm gmt and will last through sunday 2/11 at 4pm cst/5pm est/11pm gmt. this dash event will focus mainly on plotting on writing (our next one will be a more impromptu discord event and it will follow this one fairly quickly). i will personally be posting a thread/plot wishlist for this event and you guys are welcome to do the same !! however, to get things started, there are a few prompts and everyone has thread partners for them. they are located under the cut. you’re welcome to continue current threads and plot for the event until it begins.
