“ugh,” allie heaved a frustrated sigh, as the tarp she was trying to support fell off the poles and on top of her. she was surrounded by tent materials and a huge instruction map was laid out in front of them. “can you help me with this? it’s hopeless and i’m,” as allie tried to untangle herself from the tarp, she tossed one of the poles across the campsite in frustration, “way too stupid.”

a handful of trouble-making teenagers on weekend-long camping trip in the woods sounds like the plot of a horror movie, but here at pointsett, it’s just another weekend. after the bonfire, the twelve reconciled to make plans again and to make the summer one to remember, starting off that resolution with a campsite at pointsett campgrounds, right in the midst of pointsett woods. with tents, campfires, booze, and hopefully lots of bugspray, it’s sure to be a weekend to remember.
this is a dash event that will take place starting wednesday 2/7 at 4pm cst/5pm est/11pm gmt and will last through sunday 2/11 at 4pm cst/5pm est/11pm gmt. this dash event will focus mainly on plotting on writing (our next one will be a more impromptu discord event and it will follow this one fairly quickly). i will personally be posting a thread/plot wishlist for this event and you guys are welcome to do the same !! however, to get things started, there are a few prompts and everyone has thread partners for them. they are located under the cut. you’re welcome to continue current threads and plot for the event until it begins.

it’s tradition in pointsett that after graduation, the senior class heads into the woods off of lake pointsett and celebrates. this year is no different and different groups among the class have started their own fire pits. long before beth died, the thirteen had their spot and fire pit picked out for the night they’d celebrate their freedom from high school and laugh about all the stupid memories as they passed around a bottle or a joint.
even though beth’s gone, they know it would be wrong to abandon their prime spot in the woods and their prime fire pit. so, on friday night, the twelve head into the woods and start a fire, ready for a wild night in the pointsett woods and their first party together without beth.
this event begins now (1/24) at 3:00 PM CST/4:00 PM EST/9:00 PM GMT and will last until sunday (1/28) 12:00 PM CST/1:00PM EST/6:00 PM GMT. you can tag posts like character instagrams/twitters/outfit aesthetics/etc. with #lsevent.
if any of your current threads are important, you can either 1) plot out what happened in them and close them or 2) save them for later. if you have so much muse for a current thread that you can’t bear to put it on hold, there can be exceptions but for the most part, dash interactions should take place in the pointsett woods.
