week 4
sowy i havent properly kept people updated about how im going on my anti-depressants (loxalate)
its just that there hasnt even been anything to report back on
i still feel the same if not worse especially with my depersonalization and i've still had irrational reactions to normal situations, the other night i had a panic attack because i was trying to work out living arrangments with my parents :l lol
but yeah, next time i see my psychiatrist ill be telling him all of this and ill soon be one some other medication
it kinda sucks not knowing what meds will work and that its all a matter of trial and error
Day 2-3
Still no noticeable changes
I've mostly just been feeling a little spaced out, though because of my depersonalization it's just basically added to the feeling of that but its's tolerable. Also I think it makes me yawn though i can't actually tell if thats cos of the meds or if its just my weird sleeping schedule.. :l
other than that theres nothing really to report back on
Day 1
okayyyyyyyyy so I've decided to start basically documenting my progress with starting on anti-depressants (I've been prescribed Loxalate)
I'm only on I think a 3 month trial to see how i go but i thought it'd be good to keep track of how im going n shit
so because today was my first day of taking loxalate i was told to take half a tablet. it was hard to tell if it actually did alter anything because its like how can you even tell if its because of the meds or if its because of something else; but basically i did find that my depersonalization was a little harsher today but i still dealt with it, I did feel a little sick maybe half an hour after taking it but i felt better after i ate. I did also find myself getting easily irritated by small things. I wasn't at all expecting a change straight away because I've been advised by doctors and many others that it takes a while to actually kick in so yeah, nothing major today apart from physical symptoms i guess.
so for the next 3 months ill be taking one loxalate pill everyday when i wake up.
i'll try and keep you guys updated on how im going/reacting or whatever but this is mostly for me to keep track of my progress :l
I need advice from anyone who feels they can help!!!
okaaaaaaaaay
i just got back from an appointment with my new psychiatrist and he's got me a prescription for an anti-depressant called Loxalate. I'm just doing a trial with it for 2-3 months but I need advice on side effects and personal experiences etc.
especially with the subject of alcohol because, not to sound like a stupid teenager without any priorities, I've only just gotten into drinking alcohol and if I stop now because of meds I'll feel asif I'm missing out; so does anyone know what could potentially happen if I drank alcohol whilst on Loxalate? (It says on the pamflet that drinking alcohol is not advisable but it doesnt actually strictly tell you to not do it..)
but yeah especially because I've never been on meds before I'm a little afraid of what the side effects will do..
help -__-?

okay so my new medication is;
loxalate
has anyone tried it? it's mainly for depression
which for starters i don't even consider to be an actual thing
but it support the anxiety factor
and the panic stages.
my doctor mainly said that it will make me really dizzy and dopey for the first week or so
WIN? no. blegh. hate starting new medications!
