There aren’t many people that I consider as style inspirations. I would like to think the majority of my personal style comes from within but I would be lying if I didn’t say there are a few whose Instagram I visit on a regular basis. When I do, it’s mainly Swann and Loic Joachim. I’ve been a fan of the Parisian twins style for a few years now. From their days of Crockett and Jones & Common Projects to present day Vans Old Skools and Detroit Runners, Les Freres Joachim have always just done it right.

Minimal; utility and workwear inspired, Swann and Loic have also used their social media following to create a solid clientele for their own brand; Lownn (which I own a few pieces myself).  Minimal, monochrome, and so…..easy, it makes you wonder how the fuck didn’t I do that myself?

That’s what I admire the most, the fact that it is so easy,  their simplicity and minimalistic approach would stand out in a crowd of people, as backwards as that may sound.
