On Saturday we hosted a little "Saturday School", and you wouldn't believe it, student showed up... We brought our @stageculinary team to brunch at @octofishbar, which is our Executive Chef, @shane_oporto's restaurant. The kids got their first taste of high end service and explored the entire menu studying plating, flavors, and new ingredients... Then we took a trip across the street to the @stpaulfarmersmarket and gave the students a $100 budget to go shopping throughout the market. They learned and purchased from local farms and food-based small business. Tonight they'll cook the food they bought for @startribune food writer @ricknelsonstrib!
