Had a busy day today. I lowered the front of my #fordcourier I used Mustang II springs and cut 1 1/4 coils off. I used the mustang springs because they are a softer spring rate. When you cut coils it raises the spring rate. According to my calculations. Cutting them this much raises the rate back up to factory. I'll be honest in hindsight I should have just cut about a half coil I think. From what I read just using the Mustang II springs will give you a two inch drop without cutting. I got at least three inches. I'll know better once I drop the rear too. Turns out I need ball joints, inner and outer tie rods and sway bar links🙄.
