I think Shane would just barely manage to not act like a resource guarding dog when Svetlana's around (mostly because he redirects the petty jealousy he feels over Ilya away from her and onto the many faceless women he treats as placeholders for all of Ilya's past sexual partners in his head), but I do think if he ever found out that not only were they having sex, but Svetlana would sometimes stick around afterwards and Ilya would lay his head in her lap and she'd play with his hair, he would immediately have an apoplectic rage episode so extreme he'd find the strength punch straight through a window.

I hate when people try to disguise their cringe culture shit with concern. "It's unhealthy!!! It's mentally unstable!!!" Identifying as a fucking dog? That's it? Shipping yourself with a character? My take on any Swap!AU of the Beasts/Ancients is that PV 'corrupts' last, and it's out of despair from attempting to get some sense back into his friends.
Shitty names include; Wilted Lily (not mine from story on AO3 called peak of deceit by I eat birds), Bitter Cacao (best I could do), Wandering Barbarian (kinda like TR (could also be Wandering Barberryann lmao)) and for GC bc she's a diva multiple titles such as; Avaricious Goddess, Golden Greed, Covetous Cheese, Coveting Goddess, Golden God of Avarice and Golden Thief.
Also love the idea of the Virtues being absolutely overwhelmed by the Ancients bc they're more tight knit than the Beasts r shown to be.
I think it'd mostly be WL, DC & GC alliance pushing the forefront while HB is doing whatever she wants (nobody ask ES about anything she knows nothing of the Ancient she doesn't want anything to do with fighting now go away she has a hot gurl and her dragon qpr to woo) and PV's guarding his tower.
So while the other Virtues are fighting for their lives politically, territorially, emotionally and physically sage takes one glance at TR and is immediately outside his tower.

Kinda lost where I was going with this but just know that the Ancients love their lil guy PV. They (HB and DC) forgive him almost immediately for the WL thing in Odyssey. DC more often is mentioned to very much respect and worry about PV seeing him as a dear friend. HB reminds PV to eat more showing she pays attention to his health. And u just know GC thinks of her friends as her Treasures too.
It's more likely that Pure Vanilla felt immensely guilty over his friends actions and was (my headcannons) encouraged to stay inside his tower where it is safe after many attempts of peace talks, to rebellion leading where everyone but PV was punished.
Is this my yandere (or platonic) polyancients agenda? Perhapsπ.
Also it'd be hilarious if Sage started dragging Truthless everywhere against his will while loudly commenting that the other Virtues are being dramatic bc he had no trouble with recluse and he doesn't know what you lot are going on about, while 3/5 of their areas of influence are on fire.
