if i dont leave the house for long enough i go a bit crazy, sometimes even if i leave the house honestly it builds over time, anyways, when that happens my mom always takes me to the seafront and it makes me feel a little better
and its a real thing they used to do in the victorian (?) ages or like along time ago and they did studies about it and they found seeing blues and greens (in nature) helps improve ur health!! they call it blue spaces!!
so going to the shore and seeing where the sky and sea meet is really good for you especially if you live in the city and the same would apply to seeing like a field and a clear sky. though apparently the sea is more effective, but anyway its like a real scientific thing and especially now its super effective because of urbanisationa nd stuff.
it has alot of psychological factors but one i didnt know abt is 'awe' they say its bc being in a large open space kinda reminds you how small you are and it reduces stress somehow but obvs its alot more complex than this this is js one facet but its super intersting!!
