ok ill bite. what is going on in vampires smp (<- knows nothing about it)
Okay okay! Vampires smp starts off with 14 people who dont believe in vampires- except those 2 vampires- and that one guy thats sort of shunned from the village. And now 3 episodes later theres 6 vampires in which one is just staying completely away from the others, one that is the new mayor (dramatic noise cause one of the other vampires backstories is that the dude that turned them was a mayor that they were gay with but the town killed that mayor and now the vampire that loved them has vowed to absolutely Ruin the one dude that believed in vampires from the start. Because theyre parallels in hating the others entire species for causing the death of a loved one. Theres a cool animatic and song for that backstory, watch avidmc) and is both helping the humans and deciding who to turn next, and one that is buddy buddy with the worst of the vamps but doesn’t wanna hurt the humans.
Human side of things, most everyone believes in vampires now! (Except certified blissfully unaware master Pearl) Sadly not enough to stand up for Avid, the vampire hunter, when one of the vampire’s gaslit and called him a monster. But after that the timing of when things happened got so ridiculous, like someone had 2 chances to be saved and help arrived a minute too late. And then a separate group arrived after that group left and had a fight that absolutely failed but did end with someone vowing to cure the vampires and its sooooo arghghghgh
This is very not in depth to not explain every single thing that happened and not spoil too much if it convinces you to watch it but please ask more if youd like to

Wuh! Uh technically ignoring dnd characters cause I dont get into those much, I do have one oc! Came up with xem on a roadtrip and they got stuck in my head even though I actually barely remember anything about them. Their backstory is that they’re in the apocalypse and they are a clone of this one scientist’s kid. The scientist got hit with guilt tho and dealt with it terribly by abandoning their half formed clone to only be released when the lab fell apart. And so the actual character is cause the cloning sorta failed they have a sorta eldritch horror-esque hole in their side. The character actually came from me wondering if you could mess with the physics of someone’s clothing to hint at something being weird. Hmm what else- I think their name was Rex (xe/them) and yknow growing up in the apocalypse alone leads to a very reserved and awkward social life. I think I also had them meet someone that became their friend? But theyre even less fleshed out
