you love so deeply and widely; make sure that love includes you, you, you.
it’s been so long since I last posted here
or anywhere, really. I hope, if you read this, you’re doing well and learning to be at peace with yourself.
this year has been tougher than anticipated, and somewhere along the line I lost love for myself - the love I had finally accumulated after years of self-doubt.
trying to build myself back up whilst also sharing my heart with another.
if you do nothing else today,
try to remind yourself of your good qualities. you deserve love, and lots of it.
finally,
I’m in love once again
we looked like a painting in my mirror as he held my stomach and weighty thighs

maybe one day we will speak again, when we are mentally ready to love each other, to support and build each other up as we once did before. for now we need ourselves - a quiet moment of contemplation that translates into transformative action. for now we need ourselves.
And so, I will return to myself,
where I both begin and end.
I am made of the earth
and she grows from me:
my sleeping child,
anticipating the first touch
of freedom.

a concept: you sit between my legs as I moisturise your back and ask you about your day
