pandora is the most romantic person ever. everything she does has a touch of love, of romance, of affection. and i don't mean that she flirts with everyone, you can clearly tell when nothing would ever happen between her and them, but she just exhales love. you can clearly see love in every step she takes, in every tarot reading, in every word. everything that comes out of her mouth sounds romantic, even if she's just ranting about an assignment they absolutely hate. every little thing seems romantic even when you know it's not – her affectionate words when she sees one of the girls crying, the constant use of pet names such as "love" towards pretty much all of her friends, her having unique little signals with each friend to always be able to know if they are really okay, if they need an excuse to leave a conversation or a party. if love has a smell, it's pandora's perfume, romance is always in the air when pandora is present. that's what dorcas thought, anyway. so when her best friend jokingly starts referring to dorcas as her girlfriend, she doesn't think anything of it, she just does the same. they were always like this, always maintaining physical contact, always having sleepovers, always together, every minute they could. this was simply their dynamic, this was how they always were. they were always together and spent the night at each other's place so often that half of pandora's closet was in dorcas' home and vice-versa. moments before everything happened they were just lying in bed and looking at each other in silence. pandora had cooked dinner and made cookies for dessert, just like an ordinary night at dorcas' place, but, come to think of it, that night was anything but ordinary. after countless minutes of admiring each other's existence, pandora gets up and puts a slow song playlist. that's how they ended up very close to each other, dancing to songs dorcas wasn't sure of the meaning but could assume because of the familiar portuguese words pandora said previously. they mentioned pleasure and love and couples and dating. suddenly, they were kissing. dorcas knew that was the best thing she had ever felt, and, as she felt pandora's gentle hands in her neck, she realized she had been yearning for this kiss. they were always meant to be together. that was the night they officially started dating.
