       there’s a purse in isabella’s lips, tilting her head ever so slightly before meeting jericho’s gaze. “ . . . are you mad at me ? “ izzy asks, twisting her fingers ever so slightly.  //   @lovcfools​ ​

“  yeah,  nothing  says  ‘  i  love  you  ’  more  than  a  bouquet  that’ll  die  in  two  days  …  ”

     a blind date. the very concept is absurd to gordon, the idea of letting a friend set him up with a total stranger. then again, he hasn’t left his house in three weeks, so he supposes he should be thankful or the push to leave the confines of his shuffle between his office, the fridge and his bed. it’s an excuse to wash himself more thoroughly and comb his hair and trim his beard, though as he sits there waiting at the table, he wonders if he should have shaved his moustache. picking up the spoon off the table, he turns it around on himself and wonders if he looked that much like he was wearing an 80s pornstache when he left the house. still, his options are slim lest he bolts before his date can arrive. so, instead, he sits back, putting the spoon down and his hands in his lap, until his gaze rises towards the entrance and he sees a figure walking towards him. gordon looks and then looks away, thrown off by how disarmingly gorgeous she looks. she can’t possibly be his date, surely no one would set up someone this beautiful for disappointment. and yet, she’s greeting him and he has to stand up quickly, shoving his chair back. “hi. sorry.” he reaches his hand out on instinct to shake hers and then smiles, meeting her gaze and almost forgetting to introduce himself. “i’m gordon, it’s really nice to meet you... i wasn’t sure what i was expecting but you’re just,” he shakes his head and swallows thickly. “wow.” he chuckles and goes to sit down, but then stops. “oh, do you want me to, i can push your seat in?”               / @lovcfools​
