Loux had been pacing for what seemed like hours, resisting every possible urge to climb into Kisumi's bed and roll around in it, soak in his scent. Kisumi was showering, and for once, Loux had abstained from harassing him, trying to cope with the sharp twinge at the back of his mind and the sudden hyper-awareness he had over even the smallest of smells. Fine-tuned, as if designed to sniff Kisumi out. Any other day, he might've embraced what he knew to be happening, but he wasn't prepared, even if now his moodiness made sense.
Loux fought with himself for a time, rubbing his temples, his mouth wetter than usual, breaths harried too. Dammit. No doubt, he was running hotter in turn. All his efforts to be good despite his moods were quickly racing down the drain; All he could think about was Kisumi, the warmth of his skin, how he tasted, and how much he needed him. Before he knew it, his feet carried him to the bathroom, clothes falling to the floor in a trail behind him. He wasn't a complete animal, so he at least knocked before entering, a sheepish call of Kisumi's name leaving him.
The bathroom had always been his safe haven. It was the only room growing up where people knocked and respected some of his privacy. It was probably the room that showed off the most of his personality in. All the products he liked to used decorated the built in nooks in his large walk in shower. By the sink all his skin care lined in their pretty packaging on tier shelves.
The sleekness was broken by overly fluffy rugs and silk and plush robes hung on hooks right outside the glass. Currently a stack of warmed towels were placed on a stool outside of the shower’s threshold waiting for Kisumi to finish up.
Inside his eyes were closed as he simply stood under the heated water. He allowed it to just run over him as muscles began to relax under the flow. Of course he should have expected to be interrupted. Loux never left him alone for long. “Yeah?” He called, not opening his eyes just yet as he breathed in the eucalyptus hanging above him. The glass was already beginning to fog up that the steam billowed out as he entered.
The slight chill Loux brought was diminished by his own body warmth. “Hey—“ he paused, Violet eyes shooting opening as the droplets clung in his lashes. “Are you alright? What’s wrong?” He coaxed bringing Loux closer as the door closed behind him. Kisumi held the other in his arms as he hoped he would find the shower as soothing as he did. “You’re burning up babe.” He spoke worried, placing kisses on his temple feeling just how warm the other was in his arms.
