Not only have I lost what was supposed to be a momentous time in my life, I look towards the future and see little hope.

I lost job on part of the pandemic.

I have fears that I won't be able to afford or even attend college. Especially in this country where poor college students are thrown to the sharks.

I fear for the life of my mother who is a medical profession.

             Quynh looks mildly impressed at the way the other girl fights, recognises something of herself in the red-haired girl, the fighting like you’re not scared of dying. She wonders. She dreamt of Andromache for so long before meeting her  ( dismissed those as simple dreams, nothing more to it ),  but she doesn’t recognise this girl, has never seen her face, not even when she was asleep. Interesting.

             growing up near the water, it was this soothing sound arthur could never get enough of.  he sought it out like a moth to flame.  the sound.  the rhythmic crash of water upon rocks and sand.  when he was younger it helped him think.  now that he was older there were times when he wasn’t sure if he could think straight without it.  

          for him there was always a lot to think on.  today.  tomorrow.  the days beyond that.  thoughts always churning in order to protect those he cared about.  myrddin and guinevere often chided him for not living in the now.  funny how many people actually said that to him.  but if he always stayed in the present how could he see his kingdom forward?

“Yes, I can see that” snapped back the blonde, casting a sideways glance towards fellow femme. “I don’t see bodies anywhere, though. So, the question is, whose blood are we standing on? And what is responsible for the horror movie decor?” 

    “i met with your father today.”  poseidon confessed, sliding from his spot on the sofa to greet his wife with a kiss.  “i have nothing but respect for the man, but he still intimidates me, just a little.  its where you get it from, clearly.”
