Sha Na Na - Teen Angel Lost Treasures of WoodStock
To close the day there's a lost gem of Woodstock. But why is exactly a gem ? Anyway the guys praying at stage and the rockabillies making weird movements, Cuz is a cover of a song that hippie Generation remember from their childhood. Hendrix knows it at minute 1:18. the hippie at 1:25 suspect it and the guy of 1:35 is travelling to his childhood directly xDDD priceless jewel video.
Lost Gems: East-West Pipeline - BURY ME AN ANGEL OST
Lost Gems: East-West Pipeline - BURY ME AN ANGEL OST A never-released soundtrack to a 70's biker-sploitation film from a studio session band that deserves to be heard #eastwestpipeline #burymeanangel #soundtrack #rocknroll #classicrock #lost #obscure
So here’s a question: can a gem really be “lost” if it was never officially available to begin with? That’s the case for the original soundtrack to the 1971 biker-sploitation flick Bury Me an Angel, featuring songs by East-West Pipeline. Never heard of that band? There’s a good reason for that – the group only existed for the recording of this and the Angels Die Hard original soundtrack. When…

Comic Confessions: As a little girl in the 1980s, the TV show "Inhumanoids" was one of the few shows that actually scared me. The sight of that hand reaching out from below and grabbing the title are chilling and stand the test of time. I mean, I could even tell you the impact that had on me: I used to have images of a hand like this coming out from under my bed or anything else that was not in my peripheral vision when I was scared. I even remember confiding in my mother that it scared me, so she advised me not to watch this show anymore and the “bad hand” go away. And it did.
I would love to see it rebooted because it really is a great series that was ahead of its time though I would not let small children see it either. This show was for teenagers though I would still recommend watching it if you are one or up. Just because a show wasn’t for kids after all doesn’t mean it wasn’t good.
In fact, it should be rebooted because a cartoon like this would be great with some cleaned up storytelling and better character development. It can also be relevant with the times with how we are trying harder and hard to explore the unknown. I would classify it as fantasy/horror though and not make it kid friendly. I say embrace the terror.
PS: Noticed what my mom did? She didn’t sue, rally or make a federal case about it. She simply advised me to not watch a show that bothered or scared me, and that was the end of it.

An important Aphex gem.
Managed to download the whole soundcloud dump from the internet archive, fished out the good stuff, and made a compilation. I made this cover for it by using Microsoft paint and Firealpaca
