Assimilating back to being a normal human was difficult. Ichigo couldnât sleep more than two hours at a time, leaving himself restless in bed since he didnât have to chase hollows. He had too much energy that he couldnât use and he was starting to take to jogging around town to get rid of it. Even then, he was still having difficulty wearing himself out.Â
Earlier in the day, heâd been invited to Keigoâs and Ichigo truly didnât have anything else to do and that was how he found himself sitting on the other boyâs couch, staring at the television in front of him. There was an anime on that he didnât recognize, something that looked as if it would have entertained Yuzu for around five minutes at least. He wasnât interested in it.Â
...In fact, he wasnât interested in anything anymore.Â
Ichigo had dreams before heâd lost his powers. Heâd wanted to be a part-time shinigami and work to take over his fatherâs clinic but now it seemed like the only thing that got his attention was the fact that he wanted to be something else and he knew what that was. He wanted to go back to fighting.
