Sliding into a seat across from Iris, Lorraine gave her coffee a quick stir before bringing the mug to her lips and taking a sip. "Mmmm..." She groaned, allowing her eyes to flutter closed for a brief moment before opening them once more. "Coffee, I swear it's my lifeforce." Laughing, she took another sip before turning to her croissant and taking a bite. "I'm so glad we were able to get together today. Things at the hospital have been nuts. I swear, I will never stop being both confused and simultaneously impressed by the ways people find to injure themselves." Giving her bite a final chew, she swallowed before continuing. "But, enough of that. Tell me what has been up with you!"

Running her palms over the front of her costume once more, Lorraine plastered a smile on her face before making her way into the bar. The spray-on glitter she'd practically drenched herself in shone beneath the lighting, matching the sparkles on her dress and on the fairy wings attached to her back. Stepping up to the bar, she patiently waited to be acknowledged while taking a look around, hoping to spot a familiar face. "Wow, this place is packed!" She commented to the person nearest. "Have you been wiating long?"

Adjusting the strap on her purse, Lorraine stepped up to the front door of Skin Deep, the local tattoo parlor. Her eyes ran over the flash sale designs posted, and her teeth worried her lower lip as she searched for one that seemed like something she'd like to have. "Decisions, decisions..." She muttered to herself, letting out a frustrated sigh before giving a quick glance around. Spotting a nearby figure she smiled, waiting until they'd closed a bit of the distance between them before asking, "Excuse me, quick question for you- if you were going to get a flash tattoo, which of these would you choose?" She asked, gesturing to the displayed designs. "Just out of curiosity."

Stepping into the line for the hayride, Lorraine grinned ear-to-ear. After having been through the Haunted House attraction (and, if she were being honest, getting sufficiently more scared than even the children in attendance), she decided to opt for a tamer form of entertainment. "I feel a bit ridiculous." She admitted to no one in particular, glancing at the figure nearest her and offering a shy smile. "I'm pretty sure I screamed louder than anyone else in the Haunted House. Hopefully this is a little less intense. Do you think?"

Cutting her car's engine, Lorraine took a deep breath before checking her reflection once more in her rearview mirror, fluffing her hair just a bit before shifting to exit her vehicle. Arms folded over her chest, she followed the crowd of people making their way toward Station 5 for the jack-o'-lantern event they hosted each year. This certainly wasn't the first year Lorraine had attended the event, and in fact it had become one of her favorites of the season- for obvious reason. Stepping into the line, she shifted her weight between her feet, glancing around and giving a warm smile to the person behind her. "Come here often?" She joked, laughing lightly. "Personally, I think this is such a great event. Help the community and get a show? Sign me up."

Stepping over to a nearby stand, Lorraine allowed her eyes to run hungrily over the selection of homemade breads and pies, all adorned beautifully and appearing to have been baked to perfection. Taking a deep breath she inhaled the aromas swirling around her, her mouth watering as her willpower against buying anything began to dwindle. "You know," she began, speaking aloud to no one in particular. "Every time I come to these things I tell myself I don't have to spend anything. Then I pass booths like these and it's like...How can I not?" Chuckling, she gave a quick shake of her head. "Not that I need any of it. Does anyone, really?"

Straightening her spine Lorraine leaned forward in her seat, stretching her back as she let out a sigh of relief. Standing, she crossed her arms over her front before turning to make her way to the refreshments table, intending to stock up before the beginning of the movie's showing. Stepping to the table, she scanned the selection before commenting to the person next to her, "this is so great, don't you think? I mean, I never would have thought to have a 'Mean Girls' event, but just look at this turnout! Are you a longtime fan, or were you just looking for something to do tonight?"
