1, 2, 7, 12, and 35 (but for next year)
Hi!
1. What is your favourite book and/or book series of all time?
This is a tough one... right now I’d say the Shades of Magic trilogy by V. E. Schwab.
2. What is the longest book you have ever read? How many pages?
Hmm, I think it was Anna Karenina, maybe? The version I read for school was 831 pages. I have an antique version that’s split into 2 books, but I’m too lazy to get up and check the page count on that haha
7. What is a book that you feel glad for not reading?
I gave up on Twilight after the second book, and I’m glad I did because I don’t think I would’ve liked the last 2 books any more than the first 2...plus the scene with Bella’s vampire fetus eating her or whatever would have destroyed teen!Steph, who was already absolutely terrified of anything to do with pregnancy or birth.
12. What book do you passionately hate?
Nerve by Jeanne Ryan. It started off so strong, but about halfway through the book the author seemed to lose her nerve and the plot went from “gripping thriller” to “really? you think that’s bad? really?”
35. What three books are you most looking forward to reading this year?
Haven’t been keeping track of 2019 releases very well, so the only one I know of off the top of my head is The Wicked King by Holly Black, but two that I really want to read and just haven’t got my hands on yet are Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor and The Spellbook of Lost and Found by Moira Fowley Doyle.
Thanks!
