CEV Cup: TRENTINO thrash PIACENZA in first round of Italian derby
The first round of the Italian derby on schedule for the quarterfinals of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men ended in a comprehensive 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-23, 25-21) for TRENTINO Diatec over LPR Volley PIACENZA. TRENTINO needed slightly more than one hour to rally to a comfortable win as PIACENZA struggled to find their way into the game and even Leonel Marshall and Viktor Yosifov could not do much to change the course of the match. Jan Stokr, Tine Urnaut and Filippo Lanza paced TRENTINO on their way to victory as only Trévor Clévenot could put up a real fight for PIACENZA.Â
