DESPERATELY ISO A LORIFINA DOLL
Please if any of you doll folks have one floating around....
Jennifer, returned to her former glory thanks to a wash and restyling her wig! Poor thing has been naked and bald for too long. I definitely want to find the brunette and blonde ones, specifically the versions made in China which luckily seem to pop up more often. The Taiwan-made versions all have the same face paint as mine while the China ones have slight differences, like some slight changes in the eye coloring, pink lips rather than peach, and are missing the blue eyeshadow of Taiwan Jennifer and Takara Miss Take. Ofc I’d shave the hair off and give them Monique wigs like this girl. Apparently they’re a little shorter than Miss Take and Taiwan Jennifer too? Lorifina is on her left, butt naked and wearing a Bluefairy Wig. I peeled her stock wig off of the vinyl cap so that she can wear non-Lorifina wigs without there being a big chunk missing from her scalp, and I also just figured out that she fits perfectly in a 7-8 so she’s probably going to be my new mannequin for when I need to style a wig, Jennifer’s head was always slightly too big for a 7-8 anyway! I’d like to get Lorifina a new Monique wig and some clothes eventually, she’s another one of those dolls that I used to love but basically forgot about, shame because she’s beautiful.

Commission on a Lorifina fashion doll by Hasbro. Was pretty excited to work on this since I haven't done anything like it before. It's so odd to not focus so much time and energy on eyes, haha! Owner wanted this face to look more alive and not so flat as it was initially. I hope I was able to achieve that.

Late (time wise) but I ventured outdoors for these photos today!! There were bees and scary buzzy things, but I managed to make it through it, haha.
These photos feature my lovely Hasbro Lorifina, who’s been a bit neglected by me! I had to wipe a nice coating of dust off of the poor girl..... Unfortunately I bought her as my grail, intent on the thought that I could never afford to own a resin ball jointed doll and that she was the closest affordable optional.... haha...ha.
Not to say she isn’t pretty, though! I’ve pondered selling her, but I think after this photoshoot, I’ve decided to hang onto her. I think I might get some BJD clothes for her and maybe make her a wig. * v * She deserves to be spoiled too!!
Also, the weird red reflection in her eyes is me. It’s the red jacket I was wearing, heh.
