the thing is that c!eret EARNED their redemption. c!techno has not. idk about you, but I didn't forget that c!techno let c!dream out of prison ("yeah but it was just business--" I don't care, he still let the most dangerous person on the server out.)

also it irks me bc c!tubbo interacts with both of them different. c!tubbo definitely trusts c!eret more now than he did after the final control room. what has c!techno really done to earn c!tubbo's trust? he literally let the guy who was gonna kill him last year out of prison. not to mention that c!techno caused doomsday. c!eret has apologized several times for their betrayal, both through actions and words (they were literally one of the ppl there during the disc finale to save c!clingyduo.) as for c!techno, he hasn't apologized at all.

Everyone is saying that its written badly, and that its damage control but Tommy has said this was in the works for months now. Everyone is saying that it isn't a satisfactory conclusion, and maybe that is the case for us; the audience but it is satisfactory for cTommy.

cTommy never forgave cDream. He understood him, he saw cDreams past and realised that cDream had morals and had goals. He understood what those goals now were. He saw that happy server that was in the past and realised that cDream missed it. This is not him at all forgiving cDream, this is not him saying that everything that happened to him was fine, he is simply seeing cDreams perspective.

Sure, he apologises but thats him apologising for his own actions and for the bad things he has done in general, this never was meant to imply that cDream was in the right. cTommy even says that he doesn't agree with anything cDream did, he just says that he can see his point now. -

At a surface level, cTommy being sympathetic towards cDream makes no sense, but then you consider his goal behind everything. Why he always went after cDream? and its for closure.

He wanted closure not with cDream dying (as we see in prison lore he can't kill cDream) He thinks he can do it but he can't and thats because by killing him, he never finds out why cDream harmed him.

Abuse victims often need to figure out why their abusers harmed them so they can have that closure, that understanding, they no longer will be kept awake at night wondering for hours 'what did I do wrong?' 'why did they do it to me?' 'did they like hurting me?' ..and if you look at cTommy, he's always wondered why cDream targetted him and what did he do wrong. He just wanted to know why. And this finale provided that answer to him.

cDream isn't being redeemed, he says things like 'you deserved it' and he never apologises. But this isn't about them reconciling, and becoming friends. This is about cTommy finally knowing why he was hurt so many times, and it co-exists with the fact that cDream was never justified in hurting him.

cDream was never forgiven or excused, he was only explained. None of cDreams motivations and desires were painted as correct. And cTommy seeing cDream as human isn't him forgiving him.

You have to consider that cTommys trauma has a big role to play in this whole thing. Why sympathize with cDream? He always did even before exile, he always tried to understand him but got left with evil monologues in response, never knowing the true reasons until he saw that limbo. He just wants it over, he just wants to be free, he smiles because he is free, he gets the reassurance, he realises why cDream thinks everythings his fault and then he finally was at peace.

until the nuke went off.

Theres even a chance that if the nuke didn't go off, cDream would betray cTommy eventually but we'll never know.

The finale ended off with cTommy putting his heart over his head, and also empathizing with the person that hurt him the most just as cTommy has done in the past over and over. Fits cTommy perfectly.

(This is just my take on the lore so it's kinda messy)

So in Fundy's stream before doomsday he talks about how before Wilbur died and was electing the new president, he looked at Fundy, before moving over him and calling on Tubbo. (If you watch Wilbur's vod you can see this was intentional)

I feel like this wasn't because he felt Fundy couldn't do it or Tubbo was better, but because he cared about him too much (or like, slightly).

Because what was the first thing to blow?

The stage the new president (whether Tommy or Tubbo) of a doom country was standing on.

He planned to take L'manberg, Tommy, and Tubbo down with him, and we know this because he says in his Match 15th stream Bust, when he is apologizing to Techno for the 16th he says: "It was - I wanted to - I wanted to blow it all up, with - with you all inside. "

This is important because the only people in the country that were on one life at the time and would have been permanently killed in the blast just so happened to be the same two people he called up to the stage.

The only reason no one died when L'manberg exploded was one) Philza sacrificed his wing to protect Wilbur and two) probably Technoblade's whole tantrum about government. Because it caused everyone, including Tubbo and Tommy, to back up and separate. So in a way, Technoblade kinda unintentionally saved both their lives.

SPOILER WARNING FOR TOMMYS "The last stream" LORE STREAM!!!!

After tommy was revived, he finally made sense of the core of dreams desire for the server, he cannot understand why dream had to do the things he did to make that happen, why simplier times had to be the way he wanted them to be or why he hurt everyone in an attempt to achieve it, but he gets the core desire of his views, just showing how compassionate tommy is despite dream having tortured and abused and killed him for the past 2 years.

Dreams sees that and imidiently tries to use it into manipulating tommy to join their side, pretending to be all simple and just wanting to be friends. Of course that is untill he realizes that he is gonna die and that it was a trap.

Tommy saying "I'm sorry" wasnt him apologizing to dream for what he did but more for that he had to kill him, bc in the end, tommy never wanted to kill anyone, but to save the server he had to.

The nuke only hit the prison, like it intended to do.

However somehow the 5 people that were in the prison woke up somewhere else. Prehaps it was still the same server, just far away from everything or maybe it was a completly new world. They all had their memory wiped, but prehaps memory can be recovered?

(Also a lil theory im case that the whole server was nuked and everything was reset)

What cdream and ccwilbur said about the server got me thinking

Cdream said "how do people just apear on the server?" And ccwilbur said "prehaps ctommy and cwilbur met on another world, parted ways but met again on the dream smp."

It makes it seem like the server just started existing at one point and one after another, people joined. That doesn't make sense tho considering certain people have memorys from befor them officially joining the server that played on the server tho? (Like ranboo, puffy, eret) or that karl can go back in time to stuff existing on the smp and also the egg existing for a long time on the server. It makes no sense!

But what if the server is a loop? What if this isnt the first time that the server existed? What if dreamXD just resets the server everytime things go bad?

It would mean everyone has amnesia, but only some are aware that they have a past they forgotten. And that would mean that while the server gets reset, its possible to regain the memories of the past loop.

I would also like to think that there is people who were/are not part of the loop bc they came from somewhere else. Techno came from somewhere, so he would have no memories of a past life he forgotten. Same goes for phil and wilbur. However, phil might be part of the cycle now considering he was on the server when it was reset. Or prehaps he is not. I'd like to belief that wilbur isn't effected by the loop since he is not on the server, so if he ever returns he would be the only one who can remember the old dream smp. Maybe also foolish keepe his memories considering he is a demi god. He just didn't interact with anyone befor beside eret so he would not know that the server gets reset. Maybe also connor bc it would be funny.

Spoiler warning for Ranboo’s lore stream: The Mind and The Soul

Everything I say is just my ideas and takes, don't take it too seriously. 

In Ranboo’s latest lore stream he revealed that his mind and soul have been split into two separate beings. Ghostboo being The Mind and the Ranboo stuck in limbo (Deadboo?) being The Soul.

How I see this is that The Mind is meant to represent the logical part of him that we see often in L'manburg (most notably on Doomsday when he makes his speech about how L'manburg doesn't matter because it was only a drug van). While The Soul is the more emotional part of him that we see more of in Snowchester and around his friends. 

The issues with his Mind and Soul separating is that he has always had a struggle with finding a balance when they were together, examples of this being: 

His panic room where he has the emotional reasoning: choosing people and not sides 

 and the logical reasoning: Dream being the reason for all the struggles

Logical: Work with Tubbo in L'manburg because you are safe there 

Emotional: help tommy in exile even if it puts you in danger of Dream

Logical: Don't tell techno about Tubbo and Micheal because he may see it as treason

Emotional: Tell techno about the Dream voice because he may understand

Now that his Mind and Soul are separated almost everything makes them have differing opinions. Which is why the mind is so bitter towards them for not bringing him back because, logically, they do have a ability. But the soul problem understands that they are grieving and asking Dream isn't exactly that easy.

unfortunately this can only drive them farther apart as The Mind seems to think that avoiding all situations that would cause differing opinions is the best way to keep them whole (him telling The Soul he is doing it for him) The Soul seems to think they should tell their friends what's going on (accusing the mind of lying to them)

with how bitter The Mind is, even if they were to be put back together I believe it would be even harder for Ranboo to deal with these differing ideas. not to mention the fact that the revive book seems to work in terms of equal exchange (one must go in place of the other) so it may not even be possible to put them back together.
