What is a Lovechild?

A lovechild is created when beings with either incompatible genitalia or more than two want to have a child but cannot do it through scientific means. The love can be temporary or everlasting. Either way, it must exist for the child to be born.

Are there Hatechildren?

Short answer: No.

Aging

Compared to humans, normal fairies and witches grow 30% faster in the womb. Instead of 9 months of pregnancy, magical gestation is just over 6 months. Lovechildren are born in half that: 3 months.

Once out of the uterus, fairies and humans grow and mature at the same rate. For a Lovechild, however, they are affected by the 30% increased growth rate until what is--in most cultures--their 18th birthday.

Desert Rose is a meeting place for all the shady folks. Located at the coast of  the Shattered Plain it is a home for smugglers, pirates, thieves, mercenaries, trackers and even assassins pay their visits for the valuable information that can be found there. 

Kept alive by stolen money from its visitors and stolen goods that smugglers and pirates bring around Desert Rose can sustain itself and isn’t dependent on any rich idiots or monarchs in general. 

To visit Desert Rose you either have to know the location of the secret landing stage or be able to get safely trough the Shattered Plain and locate the bar.

No matter how you find your way to the Desert Rose seeing it for the first time will always leave its very own impression. A bar located inside of an imperial’s skeleton is nothing you would expect. However it might have it’s own irony that a place for the filth, how some people would call the visitors, is located in a place many people would call cursed and avoid like hell itself.

If you dare to get closer to the skeleton and move the curtains that close off the entrance you finally made it.
