I love this hahaha. Genuinely this is the best think ever this like adhd coded or something. See the potential for Nika to get so invested in her rock collection and her dads having absolute shit knowledge of it. Like I imagine illuga just nodding along and nothing registers about the damn rocks that look the same. Nika would be so upset and have him like this shit down. U know like that one anecdote with aino???? That's the vibe im getting. This is the best think ive read so far.

Carla J. Easton is a Glasgow based musician who has been at it for 30 years. She's played as a member of Poster Paints and Lovechild. Her music was front and center in the band Ette. She's worked closely with Paul Kelly (The Martial Arts) over the years.
"I Think That I MIght Love You" was announced as her "guitar" record that was a "pop album at heart." Those two descriptions plus the fact that Monorail had an exclusive made me pre-order the LP along with Radhika and Rose McDowell. That package finally arrived a couple of weeks ago, and I've had time to digest all the LPs thoroughly.
I will readily admit that had I been able to listen to the entire LP, I don't think I would have bought "I Think That I Might Love You". I like it well enough, but I wouldn't exactly call it a guitar record. It's definitely a pop record (with assists from many musicians including Paul Kelly, Stevie Jackson of Belle and Sebastian).
There are times I think of Easton's voice and melodies as an extension of ABBA. But mostly this tracks in the sphere of The Martial Arts. It is released by the Ernest Jenning Record Co.

I imagine that she has become close to Utage since she is her mother's student so she often sees her around in class.

And then Utage, if she ever finds out that Naoko is Natsuki's daughter too, she'd probably have a massive freak out about the complications and scandals that would happen if someone ever finds out so she'll be extra vigilant over the kid. She'd be especially alert for any crazy fans

He has that maternal, nurturing presence even though at times he can be high-strung so I think she'd be clingy towards him.
I mean Asuka would constantly be working to provide for them while idk how good Natsuki's parenting is (since he kinda smokes and drinks all the time) so seeing Keito must've brought a stable adult figure in her life.
He might complain at first like a dad who doesn't want a pet but soon enough he's probably feeding and spoiling her all the time. He doesn't want to be obvious about it. (And also because he feels bad for the kid since Natsuki's her father)
