There was this 7-11 type place that I would go to all the time and I got close with the owner. After a while, he said that the store wasn’t doing well and there would be some changes. I came back to check up on him and opened the refridge to see that he was selling just coca-cola, which apparently was who bought him out. Instead of selling the product in the normal plastic bottle, it was in (what looked like a Joe Crabshack solo cup) with “coca-cola” printed on the side. There was an old man talking to the owner, saying that all he has are coke products. Upon grabbing my cup that hung down inside the refridge, I countered the man with, “well that is who he works for. Of course that’s all he’s selling.” For whatever reason, it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Time must have passed since then, but the building was bought out. As a tribute to the old man’s hard work, they said they’d keep the original flooring, walls, and layout as just one room. The building that was then built was a mansion for receptions, parties, and big events. More time must have passed because the building was completed and I was invited to this room to see the old man. I knew there was me, and a few kids who knew him very well because he would always treat us like we were his kids. In the dream I think I was pretty young, since they were all very young. It almost felt like the Worm Squad, where the old man was like Worm… only he didn’t stream videos…Anyway! The building was this gigantic three or four story building. The inside was massive. I don’t recall looking around, but I just knew that this was a huge building (kind of like the building that was in a previous dream (the one with Lana Parrilla and the movie theater). Once I got to his room, I opened the door to what looked like a studio apartment. There was a small tv, a bed with no sheets in the middle of the room. I think the kitchen was to the right if you sat on the bed, facing the door to come in. Anyway, none of us knew that the old man was sleeping in the old store, but the new building offered him a studio apartment as long as he was able to pay his rent on time and didn’t cause too much trouble. The old man wanted to take a break and go downstairs. He said to us that we could stay if we wanted but “I would love it if you guys could stay the night, but they won’t allow it, but… I think that if no one gets caught and you’re all good, you can stay. We were all really excited to stay cause he was such a close friend to all of us. So, we wanted to be on our best behavior. I took a seat on the bare bed and waited for the old man to come back while a few of the kids went with him to check out the place. Over the time that I was there, one kid came back and said that it looked different to him and I made a mental note of checking it out later. Another kid came in and he looked like he just lost his best friend. “What’s wrong?” I asked. “I think we got him in trouble. We might have to leave tonight, but I think they’re gonna kick him out.” “Why? What happened?” “Someone basically sold us out that we’re staying the night.” “So?” I was mad mostly for the old man. This was the only thing he had. “So it’s against their dumb policy. All I know is that the girl is locked in the bathroom.” I felt like yelling, screaming, and punching the girl until she couldn’t breathe, but instead I ran out the door, flew down the stairs, made my way to the exit, and just ran to the building across the highway. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait and could just cross to the other side. I ran into a Walgreens, but the font was blue instead of red, and picked up an energy drink. I was just appreciative to be out of the building, but there was nowhere else to go. I then decided it was the perfect opportunity to check the place out. So, I bought my drink and headed back to what had become a hotel. I also remember thinking how huge it was. Out of nowhere, there was a rush of people, and I went went in the opposite direction to get away from the crowd. There was this room with video games, so I popped in and apparently there was a premiere of a movie that Tyler Hoechlin was in. He was the main star of it in my dream. He was doing some sort of interview just outside of the room. There were three screens in the room. Two in which played the same thing, some commercial about an upcoming game that was appealing to me, and the third was a previous interview that Hoechlin did. For whatever reason, it was playing in the video game room. He was talking about how he lost a tooth during filming and it was just written into the script since he couldn’t get to the dentist right away. It was weird to be watching the interview and see him just beside the tv doing a different interview. I took a seat in a leather chair and rolled around the store, checking out the video games, unaware that there was actually an event promoting the movie Hoechlin was in. It just so happened to be in that room and I was unaware. As I rolled back, Tyler Posey was setting up tables and such for Hoechlin. Apparently, they didn’t have a crew, so everything was sort of just pulled together by the cast. I’m assuming it was one of those not-so-popular, very low budget films, so they couldn’t afford a crew or anything like that. “Did you catch that release date… Posey?” I asked, assuming that he was probably working in the room for a long time at that point, getting everything together. I remember thinking ‘if he was here for a while, he probably saw the same commercial a thousand times’ and I genuinely wanted to know when it was coming out so I could get it. He just smiled and said that he wasn’t really paying attention, but the tv was a great background noise. He went back to work, going outside in some truck. Even though I really wanted to meet Hoechlin, I figured he was too busy and probably overwhelmed with interviewers and such, so I didn’t bother him, and I watched him leave. From across the way, I saw my friend Kim coming inside the room that I was in. She was making fun of Hoechlin’s missing tooth and I didn’t say anything. I started to suck on one of my teeth because I felt lucky that they were in place and not going anywhere… until I sucked so hard that my front tooth on the right popped out. I knew that wasn’t good and I got freaked out. For whatever reason, I started sucking on the other front tooth, and that one came out as well. I was so distraught that I sunk to my knees and cried. Thankfully, I woke up then. Phew.
