Give me past mutually toxic anxceitmus with Virgil projecting his own fears and insecurities onto Janus and Remus and pushing them away/growing bitter towards them and Janus and Remus desperately trying to keep him close but their flawed/survival based mentalities leading them to believe that playing dirty is the only answer, even if that means convincing him that he’ll never be anything but the bad guy
#looookkkk#I 100% think both parties were at fault for whatever went down between them#like I don’t think it was a ‘Janus and Remus bullies poor Virgil UwU’ or vice versa#one of the central themes of the show is that not everything is black and white!!#i absolutely think Virgil has his reasonings for not trusting/feeling uneasy towards Janus and Remus (asides from on a surface level)#BUT I absolutely think he had his issues as well#I also think Janus and Remus are very complex and morally ambiguous characters who aren’t antagonistic simply just to be antagonistic#however they also are both very much willing to do what it takes to be heard/get ahead and I do think the fear of losing someone close to#them would kick that into gear#like all the scenes where they taunt him for his past#they always seem to bring up how he’ll ‘always be the bad guy’ etc etc#it wouldn’t surprise me if they did this back then too#anywayssss#anxceitmus#sanders sides#janus sanders#remus sanders#virgil sanders
