I never realized until today that the Internet Archive has a collection of original Andrew Loomis drawing/art books in PDF form available for download! How did this slip under my radar?!

Here's a little guide about the planes of the head!
I drew a very simple frontface viewed from a low angle. I added the sketch before I drew the facial features, but after I marked out the support lines, for those who are interested in the Loomis method.
π§ WIP check in ποΈ . Taking some advice to make the shading darker to add more realism. I feel like my second attempt is closer to reality, with the shape of the head.

I can't really get the hang of how to follow the facial guidelines without the outer circle ending up too big, if that makes sense, but I'll keep trying!!
