Itās now two years after Red and Chloeās time travel adventure.
Chloe and Red have repeatedly discussed what they could do about Chad.
Chloe wants to go back and save her big brother.
He was ignored by the people who should have been his friends.
They were able to change Audrey.
Red agrees with changing the past to save Chad. They are just not sure when to do it.
Audrey and Lonni are the only two they talk to often.
Dizzy is Chloeās cousin, so she still talks to her. But mostly avoid the original time travellers.
Audrey is different because she wasnāt one of the time travellers.
Audrey had also cared a lot for her brother and even loved him at one point.
Lonni is never far from Audrey, so they have gotten to know her.
Lonni told them the others were looking into getting a copy of their memories from the timeline erased by Red and Chloe.
If they were able to do that, they would also look for a way to give Red and Chloe a copy of their missing memories of the new timeline or at least look at them. They had been having issues with it sadly.
Red and Chloe have gotten used to their memories being different. Audrey has helped a lot showing her memories to them.
Red and Chloe have been dating for a year.
It took them a year to start dating. This was mainly because neither of them had really had friends before. They also just werenāt ready to date yet.
A lot of people thought they were dating long before they actually started dating.
When they started their second year together at Auradon Prep they started dating.
It was weird for them when they started at Auradon Prep after their time travel adventure. Everyone thought they were Best Friends who had known each other forever. But they had only known each other for days.
They also got to share a dormitory.
Lonni told them it was the same dormitory she and Jane had shared when they were at Auradon Prep.
They also told their mothers about their trip to the past and meeting them.
They werenāt going to tell them about but after learning that keeping the past from Chloeās parents and Chad had resulted in the future repeating itself.
Also telling Queen Leah and Audrey had had prevented it.
So, they decided it would be better to tell Bridget and Ella about what they had stopped.
However, they didnāt tell them that Bridget and Red had sentenced Ella to treason and death.
Their mums didnāt need to know what they had done to each other in another timeline.
Bridget would never forgive herself for sentencing her Best Friend to death.
They didnāt know what their mothers and Chloeās dad would do with this knowledge.
If they had they never would have shared it with them.
Ben, Mal, Evie and Jay were away again.
They talked with Jane and Carlos regularly.
Bridget had brought cupcakes, special ones for a few people.
Chloe is actually surprised to see her father here.
He doesnāt leave home often, if he does it's only for work.
Her brothersā actions hit her dad strongly.
Chloe remembers in the original timeline she spent a lot of time with Audrey.
Her dad was always busy and lost in his King duties.
According to Audrey things in the new timeline didnāt happen exactly like that.
Chloe and her mother would visit Wonderland a lot.
Her mother leaned on Bridget a lot.
Chloe worries about who her mother had when she didnāt have Bridget.
Audrey said sometimes she would come with them to Wonderland when she needed to get away from Auradon as well.
They had invited Chloeās dad as well multiple times, but he always declined.
Chloe and Red had also both trained with the Guard in Wonderland. Their mums wanted them to protect themselves. Chloe had been trained by her father until her brotherās betrayal.
A few times Audrey had taken Chloe by herself. Both of Chloeās parents stay behind.
But today both her parents are here for her graduation.
Sadly her dad hadn't come for her graduation.
He was there for another reason entirely.
Their mums had planned a Coup while King Ben and Queen Mal were away.
They had even fed Jane and her mother cupcakes which had taken away their magic.
They also had other Royal Families of Auradon on their side.
āMum?ā Red and Chole had both yelled at their mothers surprised. They were supposed to have stopped this from ever happening not making them team up and doing it together.
āWhat are you doing?ā Red asks heartbroken at seeing this again, but this time with Ella right by her side.
āWhy are you doing this?ā Chloe asks shocked to see her mother taking part in this
āWeāve had enough of the liesā Bridget says
āThe King and Queen turned my son into a monster. Look at what they did to our family?ā Ella explains and Bridget takes her hand and squeezes it to comfort her before having to let go.
āI donāt agree with what they did, but this is not the way to handle thisā Red tells them
āThey hid the truth from so many people. So, we started sharing that truth and they agree with usā Bridget explains
āSo what? Youāre going to start a Civil War because that is where this is going?ā Red exclaims
āYou told us about your own timeline where we did this. We wonā Ella explains
āAnd in that future Mum, you had Ella executed. We didnāt tell you that part. We wanted to spare you both. Chloe and I had never met, and we worked together to save you both from that future so that it would never happenā Red tells them angrily
Red grabs Chloeās hand and calls out to Lonni and Audrey and the four leave.
At the exit, they are blocked.
Red yells back āAre you going to kill us for leaving too?ā
āLet them out. Only the four of themā Bridget commands
Red and Chloe donāt look back as they leave but if they did they would see both their mums heartbroken and holding hands again.
Charming is nowhere to be seen.
Red turns to the other three as they leave āCome on up to mine and Chloeās room. We can talk thereā
To Chloe, she says āWeāre doing it nowā
Chloe just squeezes her hand and agrees.
Once in the dorm room, Red takes out The Pocket Watch.
āAudrey, Lonni, itās up to you if you want to come back with us. We donāt know how it will work for you. Chloe and I are going back to save Chad and stop all this. The watch will take us back to the moment in time when we will be able to change him. We are guessing it will be before we are born. So, like last time we will arrive as ourselves as we are now. But I donāt know if that would work for you two as you are already there and younger. But if you want you can comeā Red explains
āWe need to stop all this, and the only way is for us to go back. If the others go back, who knows what they would do? Also, this is your and Audreyās chance to save Chad. We need to find a different way forward. Iām comingā Lonni explains
āIām coming too, let's save Chadā Audrey agrees
āOk we all to touch the watch and each otherā Red explains
Once all four are touching the watch and each other Red and Chloe press the button and disappear from time into the past.

This is actually the first chapter of the sequel of Rewrite the Past but Iām not sure when I will get around to posting the rest as it is taking longer to write than I thought. I loved this part of the story so much that I wanted to share it.Ā
I actually wrote this before I wrote āWhat if Ella Kneeled?ā It is implied there might be something going on between Bridget and Ella but you can read it either way. Ella needed someone and her husband wasnāt there for her anymore so she started to rely on Bridget a lot. Charming realises something is going on but doesnāt care as long his wife is happy. He has known Ella and Bridget for years so he knows them. He is just content his wife is happy while he is just so lost over everything that happened to his son. Honestly this never part of my ideas but in ROR Cinderella takes Chloe alone to her first day so I wondered well how could that have happened here. Why did Charming not go and then I came up with well it was because of what happened to his son. So here Chloe just wants to save her brother and her parents marriage.Ā
Iām not sure what is going on between Lonni and Audrey. I would to here others thoughts on it. I do imply something maybe going on. Iām really not sure. Iām also not sure what others would think of that idea. Originally my thought was Audrey and Chad getting together again but then I wondered if it would work. For Audrey a lot has happened and she will be one of the new time travellers so that means she will be mentally a lot older than Chad which would just be weird. Like she would wait. But the original plan wasnāt to have Lonni and Audrey go back with them but it snuck up on me and I liked it so I added it. Also this Lonni will be a lot closer to Audrey than Jane this time due to the differences in the story. Also the two of them will be from a different timeline to Lonniās other fellow time travellers. Jane will also have Carlos because the first they will do is collect the other time travellers from The Isle.Ā
