Back when I lived in Longview, there was this quiet little girl who walked into the Media Booth at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Before that, her mom, @busymovin came up to me and told me that her daughter wanted to work in the media booth. At that time this little girl was in Middle School. She worked next to me every Sunday faithfully. She was the easiest person I have ever trained. We rarely talked. I’d say something and she would just smile and give me a few words or a response. Now look at her. A High School Graduate! A solid Soccer athlete! On her way to College in the next few months. Quiet yet passionate with every attempt. I have no doubt that she is headed towards amazing opportunities. Jordan Edwards, I’m proud of you and the young lady you have become. Spread your wings, and speak with confidence as you go forward. Congratulations to @wedembos of Longview, Texas also my hometown on bringing home our 2nd State Championship as 6A Division II Undefeated Champs. They gave a tremendous effort playing against Westbrook High School to seal the deal. The game was close the entire time, and Longview played behind most of the game until the last 3 remaining minutes. The Longview Lobos High School football 🏈 team completed a perfect season going 16-0. The championship game was one to forever remember and attendance for the game went down as one of the top 5 most packed stadiums of Texas High School Football games. Longview Lobos hadn’t won a state championship since 1937.
