So, I was longboarding last night with my friend on this hill...
It was a nice hill
We were feelin' good.
Picked up some nice speed.
All was well with the world for a good 2 minutes...
and then we came across a not so smooth surface on a turn while going 35mph...
I bailed 1st, jamming my right knee and shoulder into a curb.
My friend bailed right after me as he too was unaware of the change in the road.
His hand was pretty messed up.
I was just in a lot of pain from smashing into concrete at that speed. My scrapes and bruises weren't anywhere near serious.
Anyways, we ended up going to the hospital to get bandaids cause neither of us had any at our houses.
Thank God our injuries were minor. That could've been the end of us both had our reactions been different when we were no longer in control of our own momentum.
Ugh, my hand hurts .__.
